What's the deal with the whole "Rec" thing and whats it stand for? I'm sure im not the only person wondering that

Red Elephant Club meaning Bama controlling things. I'm sure there's a lot more to it, but that's all I got.

How many consecutive years to win opener? 9 or 19?

LSU hasn’t lost an opener since Kansas State in 2002. 2018 was pretty dicey against Notre Dame but LSU rallied late.

You'd think they would have made sure the Gumps qualified for the SEC tournament more often. Not finishing in the bottom 2 isn't that hard

That was 2001 not 2002. It was the first game we played after winning the CWS the season before.

A lot of people think it's a real thing, but I think it's a bunch of nonsense personally.

Did our relief pitching give up a hit? I don’t think so!
Nope. All 3 of Indiana’s hits were off of Henry.

And Indiana’s run was unearned. So, our team ERA is a nice, round 0.00.

I’ll take that W. Henry’s pitch count got a little high. But at least I didn’t have to see Alan Dunn come out to the mound and we didn’t have no need for a rally boob. Just hope they can do something with Hughes batting. He stunk it up last year good glove. Bad bat

My LSU baseball history encyclopedia brain let me down. For some reason I thought it was Smoke’s first game.

I just checked and saw I was thinking about how they almost lost Smoke’s first game against Birmingham Southern but scored 3 in the 9th.

For those who weren’t at the game tonight, those homerun tracker stats, i.e. the exit velo, angle, max height of the ball’s flight and distance, are displayed on the left field score board as the LSU batter is trotting around the bases after his homerun. Pretty cool, imo.

Wow, I just realized I didn’t check in the thread at all tonight.

Got to go to our first game together for Valentine’s and I guess I was never even on my phone. That was a heck of a start. Enjoyed reading the thread after Cheer and let’s stay undefeated for as long as possible!!!
