Amp Hill got hurt. He looked like a freak show in the spring game.

There are many more guys who were far more of busts than Shep. Shep has been a starter and made multiple big time plays.

Xavior Cater played the same position and did nothing....

Ryan Perrilloux made our team go bust

Al Woods, rotated in but no big impact

Chris Davenport has done less than all of them

Deangelo Benton is the correct answer....he signed a letter of intent.

Remember the OL from Florida named Chris Pettaway? He was a Parade All-American (big deal back in the day) recruit back in the 80s and I don't think he ever cracked the 2 deep

He was bottom of the barrell with every RS freshman leap froggin him. Not a bad guy, but was set-up for failure by the hype machine. Physically, he was weak and was not even near SEC caliber. Not his fault people talked him up.

Kinda hard for a guy to come in as a QB, get switched to a new posistion, and get passes thrown to him by JJ.

Im not defending Shep because he hasn't shown his potential. But Shep is not the biggest bust. He still has one more year left and is going to be one of our top playmakers.

Davenport and XCarter are up there imo

This is what I heard at the time.

I agree and I was not saying anything was his fault. Just saying that he was a huge bust.

Deangelo Benton is the correct answer....he signed a letter of intent and didn't play for LSU. That's a bust in my book big time.

Shep should't be mentioned in this. Not his fault . You'll see a different scenairio this year.

Shep hasn't played like a 5 star, but he's far from a bust.

and then went on to be a bust at Auburn

many people were actually claiming that he was better than RR during their recruitment

I agree he didn't live up to expectations, but the 18 isn't for big play potential.
