Shep has been a contributor on offense and has scored TDs. He still has a season to go. I wouldn't consider him a bust. Didn't live up to the 5 star billing...maybe. But its not over yet for Shep. I think he is in for a big year.

i don't understand how so many of you are quick to write of people still on the roster. shep has easily outperformed xavier carter and still has a year of eligibility. Al woods didn't have much production, and for the hype was probly a bust. davenport is on his way, he doesn't have much time left to establish himself.

Chris Pettaway, 1985. Parade All-American OL, #1 recruit in the state of FL. Was at LSU four years and never stepped on the field.

And those calling out Shep in this thread are ididots.

Injuries have certainly hurt Loston, but he's also had some stiff competition at the position. Hardly a bust. I wouldn't really call Shep a bust either. He was highly ranked at a position he probably wasn't going to play. IMO, "bust" is a term reserved for guys like Perrilloux who don't pan out due to their own actions...not guys who either stay hurt or don't earn playing time because someone else is better.

This.

Besides, you can't call a guy a bust until his career is over.

Dport might be on the 2 deep on oline. I wouldnt necessarily say hes a bust yet. Def at dt he is a bust. He may end up starting his senior year.

Shep

Davenport

These still can make an impact since they are still here so you can't call them busts just yet.

exactly. Shep has switched positions, and despite that, has made explosive plays and has scored 9 TDs in 3 years.

Xavier Carter had like 7 catches in 2 years and was just an all around idiot. If anyone is a bust, it is him.

RP was not a bust either. WE dont win a national championship without him
