I too have gone through the fire of being on the hot seat coaching my sons usaa team. I silenced all the critics by winning a multi tournament sweep and ending up in Cooperstown (this is before they just handed out championship rings to kids). You silence critics with wins. You are refined by the fire. It only made me and that U12 team stronger.
Side note we did not win a ring.

I don't know if you were one of them, but you probably were in the crowd saying the very same thing about Les Miles. PM = LM at this stage of his career.

Then why was 2020 going to shite and 2021 SEC schedule turned to shite? He got himself into this, not the fans. Why is his W-L record anemic since 2018 forward? All this supposed recruiting and the team can put 2 SEC quality starters on the mound. Yeah, Hill got hurt, every team has starters get hurt. The lack of quality pitching and position player depth speaks strongly to a complacent man at the helm. What's to defend??

In 15 we had a avg .314, 130sb pitching .298. 2016 avg .295 95sb era .397 , 2017 avg .289 78sb era .359, 2018 avg .283 70sb era 4.87 ,2019 avg .273 61sb era .464 no 2020 . 2021 half way through we avg .272 27sb so maybe 54 by the end of the year era .272 . Luckily we got a pitcher by the name of marceaux at .189 that was going to be a first round pick that decided to come here. That usually don't happen and also crews who was also a 1stround. So he has had 5 years to turn it around, how much longer does lsu wait?
