The coach O model does not work. Bad hires and coaching turnover sunk it

What side of the ball has Dabo or Urban been the coordinator for??? Seems this fan base only wants to hire someone who’s been a coordinator. Lol

O does have his short comings but Hopefully compliance will change there weed policy for our new coach to cut out the transfers, suspensions and missing on some big recruits. Believe it our not but, Our strict weed policy is used against us in recruiting. Then LSU tries their hardest to let fans and people think that it’s grades or some kind of violation of team rules, because they don’t want the backlash over our out dated weed policy.

Let me take the following one by one

quote:

Put together the best team and staff of all time in 2019... followed by a mass exodus of Talent, rightfully so

Lost both coordinators
Wife running on him, forced to divorce
Covid season, big opt outs
Starting QB gets hurt both seasons

Best DB in country that you counted on can’t stay healthy
Starting running back not cleared by NCAA before first game (self inflicted) Breaking in new coordinators, new qb, very young tea

1) Luck in getting Brady and Burrow to be as bad arse they were. Every team loses players after a NC. Coaches with long term success sustain programs not just shoot their wad once. Otherwise the prior success is considered a fluke and not indicative of a true program builder and sustainer.

2) Again product of success. Coordinators move on to HC jobs or other opportunities after great success. One of O’s problems is that no one from the media to those in the coaching ranks take him seriously. Thus, experienced guys don’t want to work for a guy like him. They know he is a DL coach masquerading as a legit HC.

3) Everyone had Covid opt-outs. Still no excuse to have such shite product following up 2019

4) Wife- don’t know what to say. Didn’t Jimbo’s wife screw her trainer or something? He seemed to be able to compartmentalize And carry on

5) DBU. injuries happen all the time. You recruit for depth.

6) Again whatever. This OL could have Barry Sanders running behind them and it wouldn’t matter.

7). Again similar to number 2 above. No one wants to work for the clown that is O. Thus, he was forced to take his 5-6th pick as DC because no one established wanted the job. And he had to take a first time OC for same reason. Additionally he boxed himself in by constantly talking about bringing in Joe Brady’s offense. When have you ever heard saban say we need to bring in someone that will run Kiffin’s offense?

Nobody compares to Saban... if that’s what you are caught up one your are going to be disappointed with whoever the née hire is. They will lose several games a year.

O's career is over at LSU. It may be before the end of the season, it may be after the final tick of the clock in November. Either way, he is gone. No need to continue to post, no need to go through the explanations. He's done. He had a chance, screwed it up and now it's over.

And so, moving on ...

Urban developed the spread option offense. He just got a HC job super young.

Saban

Average

O

But I actually do believe he would have gotten another year had he not made so many enemies. Which would have just delayed the inevitable for a year imo. The fact that the administration was wanting a change starting last year is pretty telling.

There’s zero chance to change your mind, and that’s ok. But it’s already over. I wish your boy the best.

The trolls and psychopaths on this board don't give one damn about your logic and reasoning, however accurate it may be.

What has kiffin ever won? Would score a bit more points but lose 3/4 games every year and you know it. You guys want a change just for the excitement of it but there isn’t a much better option out there right now.

I agree Kiffin would not be a good hire. He’s been given multiple head coaching jobs at programs and none of the teams he’s coached are tough. Great offensive coach, immature adult and has never fielded a tough team.

Ehh some of the players and coaches were from Les.

Everyone has players and coaches leave

Everyone had covid, covid wasnt just a louisiana thing

good players get injured, every coach deals with this

LSU isnt a program to break in new coaches if you want to compete in the sec

Al these are just excuses, really lame ones.
