Max played very well for a young QB. Some of his inexperience showed.

He sailed some balls, failed to throw to hit hot routes and check downs, and held on to the ball way too long. He had trouble navigating the pocket as well…step up, don’t drift back. Deculus is going to ruin Max.

I have a hard time blaming players with the shite show we have for coaches at the moment.

He’s getting fair criticism. Everyone was ready to anoint him as the next GOAT ready to kick Myles to the curb. He missed throws that would have directly led to 14 more points. Overthrew a low.

For all the talk of his legs being the difference they didn’t help him too much Saturday.

I like the kinda lot and think he will be good. But Brennan’s loss was so waaaay understated.

Max had 330 and three touchdowns. He’ll be fine. Max wasn’t razor sharp (to be expected for week1) but he’s far from the problem. Our lb’ers/ o and d line are arse.

Of the teams that either Brennan of Max started against (Moos St, Vandy, Mizzou, Ole Miss, UF, or UCLA), Missouri had the best defense.

How many starters did they have out when they played LSU? You Brennan fetishists live in a fantasy world.

A big part of Max’s game is his ability to run
honestly not impressed with his running when he did take off.

He's more of a QB who can take off and run when needed and at times move the chains, but I don't think of him as a running QB. However, considering how awful the O-line was and the ridiculous all-out pressure he faced on just about every pass, it's a small miracle that he managed to rush for positive yards for the game. I believe he also had our longest run for the game.

Peetz did not seem to help him at all with dropping straight back on just about every pass.
