Just don’t understand why a portion of the people on here have to hate everybody not associated with LSU. You can play competitively and still respect your opponents. Some of our ‘fans’ have to actually hate other players and coaches, all officials and any media person that isn’t 100% favorable to LSU. It’s ok to have a different opinion and actually appreciate other people - but still want to beat their arse every time you play them.

I love how baseball has travel time rules. If a football game in the SEC had to go on for 14 hours and into the next day they still wouldn’t call that shite.

He is a damn good coach and Johnson and him are best friends. I’ll take Johnson’s word on it.

I don't love gaming the rules like that. Especially when it is your team with the travel curfew. I wouldn't want to win that way.

Nothing wrong with playing within the rules. I’m ok with that.

Win what way? By scoring 10 runs on 10 hits? UK had them beat after the 5th inning. The game was over. Quit crying Earley

Meh, our league has gametime max lengths. We and everyone else are always trying to use it to our advantage when we have a lead.

And i say that while still holding a 17 year grudge against mingione for being a cocksucker

Well, Einstein. Mingione did it for a reason.

Kentucky lost a 7-1 lead to them in the game 2 days prior.

Both coaches knew they wouldn’t finish this game and Mingione expedited it by 3 minutes. Oh my gosh what an a-hole. They were done and Earley knew it and he cried

I wish they would change these rules. Especially the not being able to play on Sunday as a makeup game if you start on Thursday. That really needs to change.

Unless you allow teams games playing Fri-Sun series to make up rainouts on Monday then you have the potential of someone getting screwed on win pct.

Absolutely. Likely over? Sure, but 5 runs isn't insurmountable.

Why didn't A&M just swing wildly at pitches and intentionally strike out if they wanted to finish the inning? Because, it didn't make any sense to do so. Both coaches can play that game. One coach was just smarter than the other coach. If A&M batters had hit the ball during the inning and scoring runs. they would have won and Kentucky wouldn't have gotten another at bat. It works both ways. Just play baseball during the time frame and accept the consequences.

Yeah I know that rule. How is it “protecting the kids”?

So they don’t travel all night to then have to drag to a Monday morning class, or miss said class entirely.

People at Mingione because he is a baby back bitch and always acted like one when he was at state. He was yelling shite at LSU players when coaching first and from the dugout

This wasn’t your son Jaxon playing a 2D tournament in Broussard. One series here or there could make a difference, at least for UK.

He didn’t make the rules, he’s just smart enough to know how to use them.
