In a blowout, do you play Lee or Shep at QB?

If LSU has a substantial lead in the fourth quarter, would you play Shep and let him operate the entire LSU offense, or would you play Lee?
Allowing Shepard to run the entire LSU playbook, including the full passing repertoire, could provide him with invaluable experience, even in a blowout. Then again, it's an injury risk and could be perceived as running up the score.

First and foremost, pull Jefferson.
Second, let Lee lead a few series, then let Shep do the closing. That way both get xp just incase something should happen to JJ

Logic says to get players experience in a blowout that will help us this year. Shepard will not play QB this year, so no need to get him as many reps as Lee needs at QB.
If anything happens to JJ, Lee is the guy.

Usually these type of decisions are straight forward and a nobrainer. This year we have a delima, not only do BOTH Lee and RS need playing time but so does JJ!
My hope is this weekend both get a significant number of snaps. Probably scattered for RS and a few series for Lee.

JL is your back up this year. He would get any back up playing time.
Also don't beleive RS has the full play book under wraps yet.

Both, but mainly Lee & save RS for some key game situations down the line.

I think you use Lee first, like we did in 06 with Flynn taking over first then letting RP in after. See 2007 season for how that one worked out.
Now dont read into this that I think Lee is comparable to Flynn at this point.

Lee takes JJ's spot at running the offense with RS coming in every 4th or 5th play to run a wildtiger formation. I'd like to see him fake a run and go up top to Lafell for a TD!!!

That isn't what Ohio state said!

According to the coaches, Shep only has a small portion of the offense down pat so a mixture of Lee and RS would be likely. We'll be seeing RS more involved as each game goes by IMHO.

Have Lee pitch out right to Shep then receive a pass in the left pass from Shep, with Holliday trailing Lee. Lee laterals to Holliday a la the BSU 'hook and lateral' play.

I would say the bulk of the PT should go to Shepard, and then let Lee clean up with one final series at games end.

I play Shepard throughout the game with a series each quarter, and let Lee play the final quarter.

Play Lee at QB. Have Sheppard with him in the backfield to take occasional runs, pass routes, and a throw every once in a while. Everyone wins.
