Ohio State's loss is potentially the University of Florida's gain. The Gators are reportedly linked as a possible landing spot for Burrow, who would arrive as a graduate transfer.

However, UF head coach Dan Mullen quelled that notion Monday

"Not right now we're not really looking at it," Mullen told 247 Sports. "I feel pretty good about the guys we have and the depth that we're creating at that position and the competition at that position."

That one came back to bite you in the arse/ Right Danny?

What a maroon. You always take a shot on a guy who might help out, if for no other reason than to keep him from your competition.

Truly a maroon. The word at the time was that Mullen didn't even bother looking at any of Burrow's film.

Orgeron & E took the time to dig deep on Burrow's stats, film, references, etc. Respect!

With the twenty five hard limit, decisions aren’t always easy. He may have needed the Scolly to fill a deeper hole.

Hind sight is 20-20 especially for people that have no repercussions. I’m very glad it worked out for the good guys.

Me too.

But I have about a half-dozen Gator alum in my family. They are not nearly as understanding as you about Mullen failing to land Burrow. He was there for the Gators on a silver platter. LOL!

Hindsight is 20/20.

Burrow wasn't a transfer a ton of programs coveted and Mullen had several kids on campus young and veteran. He knows how to develop QBs so that was not something he was really itching to use a scholly on.

Y'all may have not thought about this, but I don't believe Mullen has ever had a transfer QB play for him going back to Bowling Green. Josh Harris, Alex Smith, Chris Leak, Tim Tebow, Chris Relf, Tyler Russell, Dak Prescott, Nick Fitzgerald, Feleipe Franks, Kyle Trask

I don’t like franks. But he’s funny in that gif. You can tell he is just being nice to his coach but is thinking he’s such a nerd and not really engaging him.

He’s ALWAYS been that way. That’s one of the main reasons most State fans were not upset to see him go. He’s just a douche.

He looked like he was about to ready to cry. Dude couldn't even get his words out for a while there. Any coach who loses a game and then walks straight to a press conference and blames it on injuries is a massive pussy. They knew those players were injured before the game started and still talked all kinds of shite about how their defense would shut us down. They didn't start talking about injuries are the reason we fricking torched them until after it happened. That whole fan base and team in general is full of pussies.
