IMMEDIATE plan to turn around our 2017 football season...

Joe Alleva - fired immediately
Bo Bahnsen - fired immediately
Herb Vincent - interim AD
Miles - interim head coach (we are paying him anyway. he has NO SAY on the offense)
O - returns to coach the D-line (until end of season)
Hugh Freeze - hired on interim basis as an offensive consultant. it's offensive, but Freeze can coach offense. he's a consultant a la steve sarkisian
Pete Jenkins - becomes D consultant
we find the best available special teams coach who is available and hire them as a consultant to consult us on the coaching of special teams

I hope you’re not seriously bringing up Hugh Freeze. Do you pay attention to college sports at all? Ole Miss is looking at the death penalty because of Freeze and Freeze’s show cause will still be around after the sun burns out.

consultants don't actually coach.
do you watch college football?
do you know who steve sarkisian is?
did you see what he did in our very own conference?
have you noticed the level of passing offense from oxford?
have your also noticed our deficiency in said passing offense?

So you think Miles is going to come coach the team when he's already getting paid without having to coach? He would basically be agreeing to coach the team for free. He's getting paid the money right now without having to do anything.

Yes, I know what a consultant is. Do you know the difference between an alcoholic (Sarkasian) and one who pays players, uses illegal phones to contact recruits and official phones to hire escorts? We don’t want that stench on our campus. Even if he is just a consultant the NCAA will give us no breaks. The optics are awful. Surely there are others who could be consultants rather than a man who makes Rick Pitino look ethical.

The biggest boosters go for the following:
Fire the whole bunch starting with President, however only after high level LSU boosters and me go find the core of "The Replacements"
President Mark Emmert- Returns as President of LSU, boosters buy him a $4M house on the lake near school and a new Bentley and pay him well for 10 year deal at $3.5M year which will basically retire him in BR.
AD Tom Jurich- Emmert hires him for that spot and lets him do his job
Head Coach Dan Mullen- Tom Jurich makes the hire immediately
Mullen then does what he wants with the staff. He probably keeps Aranda and maybe Raymond only. He will bring in his people, fire everyone else including Moffit and what are we doing with a 90 year old Pete Jenkins?
My wish would be Art Briles as OC and Dan Mullen together making our offense Explosive & Dynamic
Strength Coach Scott Cochran- Pay him $550,000 to leave Bama before Saban leaves. He makes 420K now and the new salary puts him over Doyle of Iowa at 515K.
Lock all of these quality people in quality long term contracts.
