Imagine if Will Wade did not get caught up in his recruiting scandal.

The LSU athletics program could have very well been at the top of every sport. Woodard has done a hell of a job hiring coaches and if it wasn’t for the mens basketball mess it would be even more impressive

I don't really see it as shitposting, just pointing out how close we are in several sports, and the feeling that we would be just as close in basketball. CMM might get us there. I haven't given up on him yet.

Why don't you wait and see how that hire ultimately pans out? I seem to remember the Jay Johnson hire wasn't to popular with fans in his first year either.

Imagine if all of the LSU supporters called out Woodward for what he did to the kids on that basketball roster. Hell with Wade, don’t care either way about him, but the complete lack of support or protection for this kids on that basketball roster right before the tourney was a disgrace.

You people keep bringing up the scandal as the talking point when speaking about what ifs. The real talking point for all the Wade worshipers should be the belief that a guy that won nothing here was all of a sudden gonna win championships and it's Woodys fault he didn't. Where's this success that gives you guys this belief? He had 5* talent here and did nothing. What was gonna change? He's at fricking McNeese. Apparently only scorned LSU fans believe Wade is some super coach. Nothing holding back major programs from hiring this superstar yet they didnt. Wonder why that could be?
