Woodward hit on most hires, but missed big on Mcmahon, who has a terrible staff of assistants who can't recruit... all the supposed big time players he's signing are flops; and Woody's biggest mistake was MM's crazy contract extension... he's stuck now financially with a big time buyout and can't get rid of MM!

I’ve talked with a few folks that have been out at practice. Kyle has changed up a few things, as far as drills.
The guy played 13 years in the Pros, 6 ProBowls. Stayed with the same team. One thing about Kyle, he’s played in a 3-4 and a 4-3. There isn’t much he hasn’t seen. Very smart guy. You listen to him talk, he knows football. He relates to everyone. Very personable guy. He captured the audience at the Breakfast i attended, an after, I got to spend a few minutes talking with him.
I think he would really like to stay at LSU for a while. We’ve had a one way door at that coaching position, I know Kelly would like for that to end. Kyle is one that might stick around for a while.

My guess is that Woodward is concerned about building a complex for basketball that will encourage a new program, coaches and players. McMahon haters can hate but he came at a time in programs history that was near a low after Wade so blatantly was caught cheating. I realize what he was doing is child’s play to the new rules but we were caught and after dealing with Wade as objectively as possible he lied about events that became apparent. Woodward gets credit for any success including football, wbb, gymnastics, track and field, volleyball, swimming, golf and he has to accept the failure of our men’s basketball team. I believe he has a plan to correct that. Looking at the success in most programs it appears to me that the LSU brand is strong under Woodward and that he has done a good job
