I don't hate Woodward at all. And it's not a Will Wade nostalgia thread either.
SWs MO at A&M was the same as evidenced by Jimbo.
One of my fav books was Swim with the Sharks by Harvey McKay. His biggest line? "If you have a problem you can solve by writing a check, you don't have a problem".
I'm unsure at this point as to how effective SW would be without a blank checkbook.
I think it's valid to observe the job being done in total and discuss that.

I clearly said I have no problem paying, Scott’s problem is he can’t get a good contract with good buyout terms. He also had the mistakes in timing on firing O and couldn’t get a penny off his buy out.
Scott is good at throwing money around, hasn’t done shite to improve the fan experience. We will see how his first batch of coaches do soon, and if he really is a political animal with what should be a friendly ncaa

LSU does mostly have a blank check book thanks to taf and tv money.

To the OP: You really need to stop creating thread topics for any dumb idea that pops into your head.
Secondly, who cares what Woodward pays coaches. Is it coming out of your paycheck? Id rather him overpay to get someone good than try to save a few dollars by getting someone not qualified. McMahon was a great hire for what LSU men's basketball needs right now.
