I think that I've heard that accuracy is an issue.

Underwood before decomitting did not seem to phase Hurley. I like that in the kid

Sean Salsbury coached him in some all-star game and loves the kid and his talent.

Sean Salisbury thinks he is fantastic. Give the kid a real Oline and RB/Receivers, and he will be more than satisfactory winner for LSU.

He better get a running QB. Our OL will be total trash next year unless we use all the unspent Underwood money on a center a guard and 2 tackles. And a TE that can block some. But BK wants to build from HS and won’t get in a bidding war so he will get the leftovers no P5 school wants. This is going to be a long bumpy ride to the bottom of the SEC.

Colin could very well be a good QB, but what about the supporting cast? Our offense looks pretty bad next year. Everything takes a step back at almost every position in depth and talent.

We’ve never kept up with Bama Texas or UGA. They’re off different pedigree. When will you guys understand that. LSU is just like any other SEC school. There’s no historical history that defines the program, outside of churning out NFL caliber athletes. But that doesn’t translate to championships. Les won a championship on the back of Saban and Ed O won on the back of Miles. 3 championships in 20 years. The Alabama run under Saban was just different. Nobody will ever do it again.

Colin Hurley high school rushing stats: 147 carries for 7 yards and 6 TDs. Senior year 78 for 177 and 5 TDs. Never shown to be a runner. And there are major concerns about his accuracy which usually can’t be taught. Often young kids peak early and don’t continue to grow physically and/or mentally.

Having said that I love the kid and his attitude. I hope he turns out to be another Burrow that blossomed in a good situation. I will always root for a kid that wants to be here. And I do think that attitude can sometimes be the x factor that matters (Tebow?). I’m not predicting that but I am rooting for it.

Ppl forget kid was a 5 star too before he reclassified and I believe he’s still only 17 years old. He has a sky high ceiling. Gimme the kid that actually wants to be here and bleeds purple and gold not the phony who clearly put on a facade and used us to up his NIL pockets. Wish underwood the best but he’s gone I’ll ride with the guys who are actually want to be here

exactly. the dude enrolled early to get a head start on developing as a college QB! he is ahead of the game

Lmao. You’re so sensitive. Idiot. Emory and Campbell leave, Dellinger is gone. How are those back ups doing? We haven’t developed much talent and we’re physically beat along the line in most games and We still will have no true center. unless Kelly decides to go into a bidding war for kids which he has said he wouldn’t. What is so far off base about any of that. Unless jones & Campbell come back.
