I'm off base or is Alleva out of his mind scheduling 2011 football

We have 5 days between NW State and the first SEC game on the road no less. Miss State will be the best they have been in years.

SEC has TV contracts. LSU is bound to it by being a member of the conference. ESPN picked it up, moved to Thursday, nothing LSU can do about it.

Would you rather a short week against MSU playing a directional school the week prior and have extra time for our trip to WVU or complain about MSU?

If there's one thing we learned from this season it's that Miles and company won't use the NW State week to gameplan some for Mississippi State. So we're going to have to prepare for the best Mississippi State team in a decade in 4 days.

I haven't looked at the schedule for Miss St yet, but don't they have a game that preceding Saturday too? If so then its not much of an issue.

Didn't LSU beat Miss St on Thursday the last time we won NC? It'll be like deja vu all over again.

They play at Auburn the week before. I think we're good even though Auburn will be garbage next year.
