I thought it was to give Floyd a reset and not have him navigate that at bat with a two ball count. He then induced a swinging bunt from the next guy. I didn’t think it was a terrible move in real time. I can see the thought process behind it.

Regardless of him hitting 8th faltine is considered a dangerous hitter.

Yes. He was particular upset at the 80 year old lady next to him making her grandson google every single stats and what they meant and whether a high number or low number was better… which apparently the grandson didn’t know either.

I was with HCb. Just thought giving a free base runner to them at that point increases significantly the odds of a crooked number inning. Go out and talk to him and tell him to not give in and groove anything since a base is open. It’s not like he was struggling with his control.

A hitter getting multiple looks at a pitcher, even if he has been unproductive thus far in a game, has a much better chance of hitting late in the game than a PH that is cold coming off the bench, and wasn't considered a good enough hitter to start a game. Kaminski was lost at the plate. Not swinging at a close pitch with two strikes with the bases loaded proved that....and he hasn't been a good hitter in his entire career at LSU.

LSU obviously will not go undefeated in baseball and neither will Texas, or anybody else.

Kaminski

I would never have pinch hit Kaminski in that situation. Travinsky either.

JJ is giving non starters a chance to perform before SEC play. He is learning what they can or can;t do. You wont see some in SEC play, only in mid week games.

Jeez people, take a breath.

The SEC series are immensely more important than the outcome of this game. Or this weekend classic overall.

This is a chance to trot young guys out against (very) good competition, on a big stage, and see how they perform. That will be good to know when we play Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss, etc.

Y’all acting like this is a melt thread when I’ve had to repeat multiple times that all I mean to say is that this needs to be a learning opportunity and I think it will be. Drunk me didn’t articulate that well I admit but at least try to read some of the thread before piling on and not understanding where I’m coming from.

The majority of posters hate anything remotely negative or even a different opinion if it isn't sucking off X

You're a good poster - better than I and more positive I wouldn't worry about any of the haters.
