The committee dropping Cincinnati only 1 spot after a double digit loss to Memphis may be even more egregious. Just keeping up the look of a quality win for Ohio State.

The Cincy situation is a perfect example of the committee ranking however the frick they want, and then backing into the reasoning. Sometimes they throw out stats, sometimes it's the eye test. The dude literally brought up OSU having 4 Top 25 wins against 3 for LSU. That's fine, but you're telling me that the committee thinks a home win against Cincy is more impressive than the road win against then Top 10 Texas.. before injuries... on the road. They have no interests in the eye test or common sense when it doesn't support their arbitrary rankings.

Those saying "win it on the field" are absolutely right but let's not sit here and act like having to play Clemson in the semi isn't a huge disadvantage. This stupid crap matters, unfortunately.

They brought that up on Sirius with me. Not that they agreed with it but what they will say if LSU destroys Georgia. Tom Lugenthal (sp) tells it like it is and after I laid out my perfect scenario LSU vs Oklahoma in Atlanta, then Ohio State in New Orleans for repeat of last two LSU championships and a Bebe Burrow Buckeye Backyard Brawl on the Bayou, he said “That would be so awesome, I hope you are right but they have already made up their mind that Ohio State is number 1 and unless they decide to play in the desert this is nit going to happen

Y'all see now. This is why they are going to have to expand the cfp to 8 teams, or at least 6 and the first 2 seeds get byes in first round. It's got to be done bc there's obviously still biases and agendas in that room full of HUMAN frickING BEINGS. It has got to happen, and 8 would be the ideal number bc there are teams that will be left out that are more deserving sooner or later simply bc of the conference ties and agendas that form their biased opinions. This is becoming ridiculous already.

The last 4 National Championship games have been Alabama v. Clemson or Georgia. The Committee does not want another SEC v ACC or worse SEC v SEC championship game. Thus, the committee wants LSU to beat Georgia to keep 2 SEC teams out of the final 4 and will match-up Clemson and LSU in semis to avoid either of them beating Ohio State by 2 TD's in the semifinals.

The BCS Committee is going to die by Ohio State. Just like the other formulas before it did. It's like they forget how over ranked Ohio State is and eventually buy back into their fantasy that the whole area is a football Mecca. Then when they get blown out yet again by a SEC team.... We'll get a new way of figuring out the rankings and Ohio State will once again go back to being looked at as a suspicious record.

I've just embraced the fact that this is what we have to go through to get rid of this bcs committee. I'm not even worried anymore about playing a #3 Clemson because IMO, they're overrated also. When we win, we will go down as one of the best teams ever who played and beat x number of top 10 teams on our way to the national championship. Nobody will be able to stop us except us.

tOSU is ranked ahead of LSU for the same reason LSU and Oklahoma were ranked ahead of USC 16 years ago. There is no rig job, and there is never a reason to listen to anything Clay Travis says. His content is no better than the rant.

He's basically echoing what I have been saying for two weeks.

The bullshite CFP committee justifies their actions via their bogus so-called "eye test" that basically is a smokescreen for the committee members to inject their anti-SEC bias into the process.

For instance, no way was Penn State the number 8 team in the country after they were totally dominated by lowly Minnesota. As logically Penn State deserved to be ranked below lowly Minnesota. However, the bullshite CFP committee employed their bogus so-called "eye test" scam to rank Penn State the number 8 team in their bogus poll to pad Ohio State's resume so they could steal the number one seed position away from LSU to screw over the SEC.

In fact, the bullshite CFP committee still ranks Penn State number 10 after they were inevitably beaten by Ohio State instead of number 19 behind lowly Minnesota that totally dominated Penn State.

If we beat UGA, the committee will have to drop them out of the top 10 in order to devalue the win, while keeping Wisconsin in. If that happens, it would be completely ridiculous and the bias would be impossible to explain away.

I'm one of the few Ohio State fans who listen to Clay Travis daily. He still hasn't explained why the committee would want Ohio State #1 and not Clemson or LSU.

The committee has show that they don't punish teams for losing conference championship games. If LSU beats UGA by what I think is the most probable outcome 10-17 points, I would expect UGA to be in the 7-8 range. Wisconsin will probably fall back to the 10-12 range if Ohio State dominates them again which most people expect.

Wisconsin has no business staying in the top 10 if they lose.
