Nothing. It counts as a training mission for the pilots and is justified as a recruiting tool.

OOppps!! My bad.

thanks flying tiger!

I knew it was the TBs.

Blue Angels are very cool too.

Sertoma club puts in on at the Lafayette Airport. They usually charge $15 or $20 admission.

Very nice day. Big crowds but not nearly as large as the big free show in Belle Chase.

I kept turning back during the national anthem to see if I could see them coming. I heard that roar coming in towards the end and I was fricking pumped, man.

I hope so. I just found out about the show yesterday at the football game. I live in Lafayette and I'll probably try to make the Sunday show.

Let's hope for clear skies and a high altitude performance. I've seen their flat show too many times.

You think there is any chance we might get a flyover by the Thunderbirds that week? I know being a night game, it could be worthless to do it. But as its looking now Bama will be a 2:30 CBS kickoff. How cool would it be to get a couple of B-52's out of Barksdale to flyover in pregame.

A friend of mine from St. Bernard, Mike Lopinto, flew in a jet from Belle Chase to Lafayette years ago. It was one of the static displays. I thought he was AF reserve but I'm not real sure, may be navy. Do you know him by chance?

The 2005 Flyover @ Bama had to be abnormal... thought I saw a few sparks on the upper deck canopy.

To whomever asked where they were from ... over the ROAR of the crowd, I heard San Antonio ... anyone know if that's right? I'll readily admit I had tears in my eyes .. but that always happens even just with the National Anthem, let alone the flyover.
