I sat on the top row of the student section and watched them all the way from when you could first see them coming over the bridge. It didn't scare the shite out of me like it did last time.

I had forgotten they were gonna do that and I remembered when the crowd cheered at the end of the national anthem.

Bama '05 scared the shite out of me. I seriously though I died.

I was sitting behind the bama student section and it came behind me

Talk about RIGHT ON TIME compared to the App State game. Excellent way to start a game.

Our seat are in the South End Zone lower area and I could hear the humbling a few seconds before the appeared and it was great.

Had goose bumps and a whole lot of pride.

The pilots made it to the game afterward. They were walking around the field and got a nice little round of applause from the NEZ.

My 4 year old was scared pretty bad during Appy State because we were in the North end zone and heard it before we saw it. Last night we were in East upper and I had the heads up here on TD.com (thanks) and we watched the planes fly in over downtown BR to Tiger Stadium. He was not scared too much this time.

There were rumors of the flyover on Friday on this board. Apparently the jets made a practice run. There were several negatigers here saying "there will not be a flyover". Stupid me, I thought they were in the know and I was surprised.

BTW Blue Angels will be in Lafayette the first weekend in November. Same weekend we play Tulane.

Would you rather them be a little late or not fly over at all! The guys that did the first flyover bent over backwards to make it happen! With the game being moved up due to the storm and having to stage out of Shreveport instead of BTR. While there families were evacuating. I know that it seemed like a clear day from the ground but it was so hazy the field could not be seen til about 2 miles out. Good for the Vipers being "early" or "on time" It Sounds like they had enough practice.
Any one know which unit they were from?
