Obj has been around the team almost every year since he left.

He was paying fines for playing neck before this year

Being drunk is not an excuse.

Being excited is not an excuse.

He could learn a lot from the tons of former players that were there to support the team and not to seek the limelight for themselves.

Not everyone is built the same. OBJ is not Jarvis, etc.
Bunch of Boomer ignorance in this thread.

Almost yes. When he can garner attention.

Paying fines for behavior he instigated , this is another look at me moment. It is all about OBJ. Screw O, screw the kids. Look at MEEEEE.

I’m sure if someone tracked it that obj has shown up every year on his bye week.

He has bought multiple teams shoes. It’s not like he just showed up for the best team ever

He needs to be banned from the field and locker room. He needs to grow up. He acts like the world is his stage

Burrow in the Pardon My Take podcast this morning alludes to OBJ handing out money during the post game partying scene. Can LSU clean this up? Of course. But they shouldn’t f’ing have to. Odell is a jackass for putting the program in this position.

Bud, he’s an active nfl player. He’s come to games when his schedule allows him to. Yes he was a douche Monday but stop acting like the only time he supports LSU is when he can draw attention to himself. He probably has returned to more games than any other former player the past 5-6 years

I haven’t seen the post game speech, but I’m actually giving Odell a pass on the money stuff.

He was definitely intoxicated and had a moment with Jefferson that im absolutely positive Jefferson didn’t have a problem with. Odell got a little carried away but it’s not like he was doing that up on the stage.

Or we like his behavior and you take some of the negative with all the positive. Every time obj donates it’s a story it gets the LSU one team one heart beat brand going more. Recruits eat it up, so if Ed O doesn’t have an issue with it I don’t see why a whiney arse no talent media member has any issues.

Most of the stuff we see going on is all about keeping the recruiting train moving, we had players go to the bama recruiting section, we had kary film roll tide what, frick you.

The money was stupid, but didn't bother me nearly as much as the constant injecting himself into O's postgame speech.

We are glad you are a proud alum, but let THOSE kids and THAT coach have their moment. THEY are the ones that earned it.

Look man, his behavior is consistent whether he is at the games or he is at his games. He is a me first human. Period. He does nothing that does not benefit himself in some way. Mainly thru the attention he thinks he deserves.

He is a poison that kills everything he as touched, except his bank account.

He was doing it right in the middle of a shitload of news cameras like he was starring in his own TV show. But keep making excuses for him.

He handed them monopoly money? Is that supposed to make him look like a badass?

It really is just that simple. But he wont change. He has enough people that let him do what ever he chooses and still praise him.

Well if O feels that way he will ban obj.

They probably just tell him don’t do that again but keeping being you.

Very true. I'm glad OBJ is around the team and I'm sure it helps with recruiting, but some of the shite he does is a distraction. There are plenty of other players (Juice, Moreau, Mathieu, RC, etc.) who all support the team and program without making it about themselves. Seemed like OBJ was the only former Tiger showing his arse at the game.

Odell slapped the cop on the arse twice.

I don't think this is being discussed enough. This was a hair away from being an extremely awful moment in a lockerroom celebrating the best LSU achievement, and we had this a-hole slapping cops' arse that could have nearly escalated into a disaster of a situation. That alone IMO is grounds for banning OBJ from all athletics events for a while.
