I can't go into a season as a nega-Tiger. There's too much to look forward to, so I've started looking for bright spots in O's short time here so far.

The team is in great shape, according to Moffitt. There's a great vibe and players are keeping each other accountable.

Aranda has stated this his most talented and deepest front seven ever. If this is indeed the case, then I don't foresee anyone just having their way with our defense. It's also going to help our lack of depth at corner. More pressure on the QB = less pressure on DBs.

O will make changes when necessary. As messed up as the whole Canada situation was, at least O made a change quickly. You could argue that Canada shouldn't have been here in the first place, but it's better than holding on the the same offensive coordinator for several seasons, running the same outdated offenses year after year and expecting different results (Miles).

This has been pounded into our brains by the O apologists, but he is indeed an incredible recruiter. I've been visiting 247 and the recruiting board quite frequently, and the future classes look stellar. He's not just loading up with a bunch of 5 and 4 star wide receivers, running backs and defensive backs like Miles used to, which inflated some of his class rankings. He's recruiting a balanced team and loading up with beef on both sides of the ball. This has obviously been a weakness of ours when playing teams like Bama. O has been looking to remedy that, and he's doing quite well. I expect the 2019 class to be loaded with high quality beef on the offensive side of the ball.

Ensminger. It's been fun making fun of him, but the man is serious about fielding a high quality offense at LSU. A major advantage that LSU will have this year is no team knows what we're coming out with. Especially Miami. They really have no ideal way to prepare for what Ensminger is going to bring. That's unless he comes out with some crap from the 1980s, but I seriously doubt that's going to be the case, based on my sources and everything that's being apparently installed.

All in all, I am starting to feel like this can be an extremely solid year for our Tigers, and with a little luck, perhaps we can win 10-12 games. The talent is certainly there.

It's O's 2nd full season coming up at LSU. I'm going to be very critical, but I'm starting to feel positive about what's coming.

No one cares? Isn't this what all of the hardcore Orgeron fans have been begging for since he was hired?

We’ve always had high quality beef on the Oline, unfortunately it’s been mostly guards... Honestly, so far, I haven’t seen anything that we’ve recruited so far that shows CEO has changed things

One can be pumped for the season and excited about our potential and still think it’s an embarrassment that he is our coach.

Negatigers for YEARS insisted that LSU was winning in spite of the head coach (nevermind that he was the most successful we’ve ever had), and continue to do so to this day.

I don’t see any reason why it can’t be the same now under a new coach

Aranda, a Miles hire, will keep us in every game. If E is what O says he is we should be more than able to make our first NY6 Bowl with an Urban Meyer QB.

He’ll get credit for promoting E, landing Burrow (even though his only competition was Cincinnati), and staying out of the way, and everyone should be happy to be back amongst the elite.

O has made some good moves and seems to recognize and attempt to correct problems much faster than miles. also, he rebuilding the trenches and seems to be putting together a great recruiting class.

i'm behind him, however, because he is LSU's HC and I love my Tigers. so far, he has not done anything that makes me want to see him fired and I hope he doesn't.

i'm still skeptical that he can bring LSU back to top 10 status with some SEC titles and playoff appearances. but I definitely want him to have his chance (not that I have a choice)

Freaking this. I wasn't the biggest fan of the O hire. Still am a bit skeptical if it will be successful. But this has been so refreshing. Even if the adjustment doesn't work, at least there attempts at trying something different.

I saw the replay of the LSU-Auburn game from '88 this past weekend and frankly it would be nice to sling the ball like ole Tommy Hodson did. In the replay of the 2007 loss to Kentucky that aired just before the Auburn game, Miles ended the game with 4 straight runs up the gut. Quite a contrast with Hodson throwing the ball a billion times until Fuller finally caught it in bounds.

Anyway, tl/dr/okay I did read.

Rah rah, Geaux Tigers. Let's hope they create some memorable moments this year.

Hell yeah bro. We all need to get behind O and this LSU football program. No matter what you think about O personally, he is the coach of our team right now, and if you are truly an LSU fan, you should support the damn team. We have a shitload of talent and we have a shot at being a really good team this season. Geaux Tigers.
