Sometimes I wish we never had JD. He has crippled you guys into thinking a QB HAS to run. The greatest of great QBs were not runners. Nuss needs to focus on protecting the ball this offseason and the Heisman will be his.

You do NOT have to run for 50 yards a game as a QB. Would it be nice to see him pick up 5 here and there? Yes, but he cannot do what JD did. He needs to stop panicking when he sees pressure; learn to take a sack/fall down, or throw it away. That's literally his only flaw.

Like I said, I hope I’m wrong.

You already wrong because Nuss didn't throw 30 picks this season with an average WR corps by LSU standards.

Kid is great until he’s pressured. Back peddled and throwing off his back foot is a big problem against the better teams.

I can't figure out how people don't see that the majority of the breakdowns & pressures came at Nuss right through a gaps up the middle. WTF yall wanted him to do most times, step up into the on coming rusher? He simply needs to be protected better from the inside out. That way when pressure does come from the outside, he CAN step up into the pocket.

Playing against nfl players ain’t like playing against college players.

First of all, great win yesterday. One of only a few SEC teams so far to represent the conference this bowl/playoff season.

Nuss and Lagway could both be in NY, barring injury, in December 2025.

Bro... such as stupid post.
1. Jameis Winston won a National championship... so, I hope Nuss can do the same.
2. Jameis Winston won the heisman. so, I hope Nuss can do that.
3. Jameis got in trouble for stealing crab legs. I don't think Nuss has ever had any off field issue..

They literally have nothing in common, except playing QB.

Also, Nuss threw too many Picks this year, but I feel like most of them, were caused by trying to do too much, when the team was struggling. protect him, give him a good running game and weapons. I feel like he could be pretty damn good.

I agree with everything in your post except for this. They do have something in common. Both are pure pocket passers with live arms.

And of course, Anderson as well. LSU should have a very talented group of receivers for sure.

Considering he led us to 9 wins this year, I think you are just being a dipshit in your take.

Nuss was 29/12 with over 4k passing this year

The game has changed. Daniels is a bad example, because no one has that talent, but Joe Burrow is a good example; he was deadly running the ball at critical times. Nuss has similar athleticism as Burrow; he just has yet to develop the feel for when to tuck and run.
