Yeah , well , the part where he insists on kissing players and they look obviously uncomfortable … that was a big No No for me , especially after the Penn State deal .

But you should have had a ceiling on a potential contract . When they are 60 yrs old and keep saying “ NO “ to the job and you keep throwing more money at them … doesn’t that signal alert bells ?? Just sayin’

So you are suggesting they should have settled for less than best available candidate?

Blame Coach O! bullshite! He had Brad Davis Blake Baker and Corey Raymond already on staff and the man could Recruit and identify high School talent that would develop in college like nobody I’ve ever seen!! Remember a skinny 3 star recruit from north Louisiana named Landon Turner?? O signed him! That’s just one in a million examples of how great he was and yes it was Woody that hated him and got rid of him and proceeded to eff up LSU like he did Texas AM!! Hiring that idiot for AD is where we went wrong!!

Then what happened in '20 and '21 with O at the helm? And if Woody hated him why did he give him a contract that was way above his market value?

I actually agree with you! Coach O never should have been a head coach! The most responsibility he can handle is D line coach

2019 doesn’t happen without O

Steve Ensminger got Brady from the Saints.
Aranda was already here.
Shrimpy was outstanding running up and down the sidelines clapping his hands and trying to stay out of the way!

Some of you don't remember the serious candidates being floated when O got the job. Without O, we would have been done for.

While O ran the program into the ground post 2019 he still gave us the opportunity to watch the greatest college football team of all time win a natty. Without him idc what anybody says it wouldnt happen.

I was on Team Jimbo back then. Wailed volubly and ripped my shirt when he signed that huge Aggie contract, just a couple days after LSU lost to Notre Dame in the Capitol One Bowl

O was plenty young enough and certainly had the fire

I miss the guy
Wished he'd worked out

You idiots wanted Tom Herman.

You’re almost correct. O was a great recruiter. You promote him to DC so he sticks around and hire someone else to be the face of the program. Orgeron stills recruits all that top talent and the HC is likely still here

Idiotic post. Your whole premise is an oxymoron.

There is no such thing as a young coach WITH A PROVEN track record of winning NC’s.

There’s a reason they’re a young, unproven coach, because they haven’t won shite, YET!

Wrong! When Woody hired Pelini, in order to grease the skids to move out Orgeron, we have been in a death spiral ever since.
Daniels temporarily saved us, but the Kelly Anchor continues the downward spiral.
100 million dollar incompetent dead weight is a hell of an obstacle to overcome.
