Mahomes is the only QB on that list who has a Super Bowl win and he is winning not because of his legs but because of his ability to play QB position at an exceptional level in regards to passing the ball. He’s what we would call a unicorn.

To me Cam Ward looks like the most dangerous QB this year

He may be, but if anyone wants to criticize some of Nuss' throws they should watch his pick six last night. One of the most bone headed throws I've seen in a while.

I wish people would say this shite about JD vs FSU 2 years ago. The worst special teams play, horredous OL play all game, WRs dropping multiple TDs, yet the only player doing something to win the game, was blamed them most, outside of coaches. Some of yall play that favoritism shite. I remember people going after Daniels after the 2023 Ole Miss game as well. Something I've realized heavy on this board is none of yall like Nuss to receive ANY critism, when you dogged Daniels any chance you got. Nuss not taking easy wide open runs and missing a 4 yard pass, is how we lost vs USC. Sure, the defense wasn't the best, but we held USC to 27. Sure the coaching was asschecks for portions of the game, but Nuss has to make a play. He's the one playing the game. With all that said, Nuss is damn good for LSU, however, i wish he would make more explosive plays

You know why...

I’ll take him too, but he missed on a few key throws that would have won that game.

This team will only go as far as his arm takes us, and we desperately need him to find the deep ball again.

yea who cares that Mahomes, Lamar and Josh allen are 204-74 as starters in the NFL

It's hilarious you somehow think Tom Brady isn't the unicorn

Lamar

good QB....he folds every single year in the playoffs...don't know if that is because of playing better defenses, or if he just chokes in the big games.

quote:

Jayden

Played 4 games......not dogging him at all, but a lot of dual threats have early success until the D figures out their weaknesses.

Hurts

was good early on...has gone to shite now. See above on NFL defenses.

Mahomes averages less than 4 rushes per game and has never had 5 rushing TDs in a season. This is what I mean by shifting the definition of a running/duel threat QB to mean whatever you want it to depending on the situation. Mahomes is closer to Montana than he is Jackson.

yeah let’s ignore the historically bad defense LSU had last year

nobody is ignoring that, no one. We all know it. But, it wasn't defense that lost to Florida St...we were tied at half....then took the second half off until the last series of the game.

Against OM, they had a shite defense too, and it was back and forth. We had two straight chances at the end of that game to take a two score lead, and couldn't get it done....OM did get it done on offense.

Bama was just too much.

now compare Mahomes to say, Derek Carr or Jared Goff, or Joe Flacco. Please, post your findings

2 posts by you and BayouBaw and 3 loss Daniels and neither mentioned the historically bad defense. Just how Daniels “couldn’t get it done”.

You aren’t subtle. You are literally just the Nuss version of LE.

I like Nuss but he needs to improve on his deep ball accuracy to be considered elite at this point

The criteria by which you measure mobile QBs is changing now, King?

I never gave one and you’re just moving the goal post exactly like I said you would.

We had the most productive offense in all of college football and only lost any games because of our horrid defense

I don't see why it's so difficult to be honest. The guy didn't with the Heisman for no reason. And he is also having NFL success. To claim that JD5 only beat a handful of teams with a winning record last year is silly. We would have beaten everyone with a somewhat competent defense.

Nah, man. If Nuss Meyer doesn't start running with the ball and getting first downs, LSU ain't going anywhere. We haven't played a tough team since the USC game, and even they weren't that great. This year, we need to stop watching other teams outperform us and thinking we're on their level. We haven't earned that yet.

Alabama
Florida State
A&M
Miss St
Arkansas
Auburn
Missouri
Wisconsin we’re all top 50 defenses

it takes two sides to win a game as we know.
