If you've been vaccinated or have had Covid, why can't you fill in the extra seats?

Similar to what they did with the healthcare workers and the Superbowl. Why aren't we seeing more of this?
Posted on 2/12/21 at 1:59 pm to lsutigermall
because they say you cannot
Posted on 2/12/21 at 2:09 pm to lsutigermall
because democrats want to destroy your livelihood

all of them. Baseball and Softball for sure. Gymnastics would get filled.

You can get Covid more than once. That rumor that you can’t is foolish

because the autocrats love the control that covid gives them.
If you think that everything returns to normal after most of the population gets the vaccine - you're nuts.
Once autocrats get control, they don't easily give it up.

Exactly....went right pass years of clinical trials and straight to the finish line and these fools are lining to to get poisoned.

People need to take off the tin hats and stop making a virus political, on either side. Every reasonable person wants to get back to normal living. Reasonable minds can differ how to safely do that. It requires balancing our need to get back to normal with slowing the virus and saving lives.
It is unknown to what extent one can be vaccinated and still be contagious. The vaccine might protect people from covid symptoms, but not from being contagious.
Over the next few months, if we do it right, we will see the beginnings of herd immunity and a relaxing of restrictions. In some states they might relax too fast, costing more deaths. There are dangers in staying in semi-lockdown too long too, both to the economy and mental well being of people who want normal.
When did we become so divided and cynical? The idea that LSU fans who happen to be democrats do not want to sit with family and friends at LSU baseball games is just as tin hat crazy as the idea that someone who wants more people at the games now doesn't care is our grandparents get covid and die.
Eventually and perhaps very soon, as the science develops, it is probable the vaccinations will allow us to fill our stadiums again.

How do you prove you've been tested? I've taken my first shot and they gave me a sticker, but that's it. I've spoken to others who have taken both and they don't provide you with any kind of documentation. It's a great idea if they could somehow figure out a way to get it done. We need more fans in the stands!

Yes! I read yesterday that the vaccines protect against sickness but not transmission.

Same reason you can brush up against people in the aisles Of Target, Walmart, Lowe’s etc etc etc...but then have to stand 6 ft apart when checking out. Don’t question the science.

They don’t need a virus to do that. The oil industry has been thieving tax payers money for decades.

Sporting events during this Covid Pandemic are just not important to most people. There is just too much we do not know about this virus and the long term effects and most people are being careful. Easy to figure out and do what your want to do to your comfort level and accept the outcome.
Me personally I had the virus and did not get sick but I am not flying, not attending large gatherings, not going to mass, not going out to bars and eat out on occasion.
My choice and I do not want to get the virus again and no matter what anyone tells you no one knows about getting it twice or if the vaccine works all the time.

You should have gotten a card with the date and time you received the first shot. Also on that card is the date and time you received the second shot.
