Okay man, you're right, you win. we should fire our coach who's 103-27 over the last two seasons. That is totally rational and practical.
now let the thread die, it's just turned into bickering

If I were athletic director, I would start working with the school to build one or two large parking buildings close to the stadium that may be used by students during the week and for athletic traffic during the games. Rent the spaces per month for students and the spaces to fans at games. The thought of parking three miles away and walking ruins the game day experience to many that love the games. Parking on campus for classes is terrible at best.

LSU has never and will never give a frick about the students.
however, if you could find a way to sell slots in a garage built say, where the old Alex Box was, LSU would do it so fast your head would spin.

I've never once parked three miles away from the stadium. Even when I have gotten to campus at 6 PM for a 7 PM game.

i would play one football game every year in the Superdome, 2 men's and 2 women's basketball games in the Smoothie King Center, and 4 baseball games a year in Zephyr Field...
other than that i can't think of much... maybe play some stronger teams out of conference in the major sports.

I think he's done a good job....continue the upgrades to facilities. Push to turn the old stadium form rooms into a nice hotel (with a hefty security deposit required for damage).

I used the new parking garage this entire past year for school. It was also available to me for football season so it was more than worth the couple hundred extra cost. I could show up whenever I wanted and I had a spot waiting for me.
So yes, students get plenty.
