TM7 had 2 great returns, but on average,

TM7 in 2011 had 15.59 yards per punt returns.
OBJR had 8.88 yards per punt return In 2013.

Even PP in 2010 didnt have as many return yards as tm7 in 2011.

In 2011 alone TM7 had 421 punt return yards(3rd in ncaa)
In Odell Beckham's entire career at lsu he had 557 yards.

Tm7 does have a strong case though.

This thread just shows how dangerous of punt returners we have had here at LSU.

TM7
PP
OBJ
Chad Jones
Skyler Green

Thats a lot of guys to have mentioned in a fairly short span of time.

Todd Kinchen. Special mention for returning a punt AND a kickoff back for touchdowns against The 49ers in the SAME game. Not to mention what he did to poor Aggie. Yikes.

While there's lots of 'correct' choices like Cannon, Peterson, and Kennison, my favorite LSU punt returner was Todd Kinchen. I loved his fearless 'up the middle' returns.

Green was my first thought even having watched Casanova in person many times.

Damn had to edit because Todd Kinchen was ridiculous especially because of how bad those teams were .
So it's:
Kinchen
Green
Casanova
Mathieu
Kennison
Trindon on KO and Peterson on punts.

When I first started watching LSU football seriously, Kinchen was my guy. Love watching 49 race all over the place.

Got into a debate last year with a few buddies about this. We went through the career stats for just about everyone that's been mentioned. If I remember correctly I believe statistically Dominic Davis put up the best yards average throughout his career and had the best td:att ratio out of all of the ones mentioned.
