Hurting the growth of the already small endowment will not help in the long term.

A bunch of people who weren't going to donate anyway aren't worried about long term viability of the university.

So you refused donations in the first place.

And now you want to pick up and tell them you’re refusing donations.

It may be petty but the people in charge have to hear the people somehow. The only way they're going to change anything is when the money starts drying up.

The worst part of living in Louisiana isn't dealing with the retards, it's dealing with the retards who are proud to be retarded and want to stay that way.

That's not petty, that is sending a message. I feel that way, I will not be donating a penny until those two are gone.

And you said you always ignore those calls so I’m sure you’ve donated a lot previously. I hope LSU can manage to turn the lights on tomorrow without your support

I’ve donated before. Never over the phone though. Difference is I can’t tell a website why I didn’t visit it to donate to the LSU foundation.

You’re right though I think LSU will manage to keep the lights on without me.

I answered their call and spoke to the very nice engineering student. At the end of the call she asked for a $150 donation. I very nicely replied I would not be donating to the school while FKA and joe alleva are still employed by the university. She completely understood.

The endowment and the foundation that runs it has nothing to do with the athletic department. But whatevs.

They may be separate, but there is a correlation between the two. Generally, when athletic programs are successful, donations increase. I believe this is pretty universal among all schools.

It would be awesome to know how much your "annual contributions" would affect LSU.

Not at all by itself.

But if 10-20,000 donors like myself all get on the same page, it’ll get kind of uncomfortable for them.

I told the endowment, college of engineering and TAF I’m done. Of course I’m keeping my tickets, but that’s the minimum.
