sorry guys, while Faneca is a solid choice, Andolsek would be a better selection.

The o-line would catch on fire around him OR he would destroy everyone of them. He would expect and demand nothing less.

Mauck, with this O-line we need a little more mobility than Flynn offered!!

I would have to disagree. And the reason is we need a leader on this team. Jamarcus was one of the better QB's we have had but Jacob Hester was our leader on offense. And that is what is sorely lacking on this team.

I would pick a QB that was a bonafide leader for us. Mauck, Hodson, Risher, Woodley, Jones take your pick.

You are correct ATL Tiger. Rohan would also fit that bill as well as any of the others I mentioned.

Jamarcus, Flynn, Mauck--any of these guys would have us humming on offense. This is no disrespect to JJ or Lee, but I simply believe an EXPERIENCED, upper classman QB would be able to compensate somewhat for the deficiencies of our o-line.

Why?

He only scored 10 on a worse UF defense in 06 and just score the same pathetic 3 points vs Auburn.

I would take Rohan hands down for this years team but JR is way down the list for me.

Name me one game that he lost that year? I can name 2 in 06 for jamarcus...we lost 2

I guess I just imagined that interception in overtime against Arkansas.

I liked Matt. Good QB to run Crowton's offense. But don't make the mistake of thinking he was anywhere near the quality of QB that Russell was.

And this had nothing to do with Jimbo's piss poor play calling. Hell, you can just ignore the 150 passing yards Russell had in the fourth quarter at Auburn after Jimbo realized we may actually lose the game.

I loved 'em both, Charles, but I really see no comparison. Faneca was beyond awesome...probably the most underappreciated LSU player of all time. Faulk, Mealey, and Herb used to run for miles off his butt. I recall many, many 20 yards plus runs.

Eric was a great pass protector and mean as they come, but no way do I take him over Faneca.
