Eh, i thought there was a larger ratio of students than non-students compared to empty seats in each’s section. But neither group was loud. Part of that is die to lsu not going on big runs and not being behind alot in the games. Also win 2 games in orlando, and january basketball in the pmac will be exciting

That's just WW trying to mollycoddle and inspire the candy@ss millennial students into keep coming. He knows they were soft tonight. Wade and Alleva will keep the free chicken boxes coming to build an LSU Hoops SS.

Coach K used to hand out pizza boxes to his students..then again that was because they were sleeping in tents in the freezing cold for two days..just for the right to stand all game and be loud!

What the hell else does a college student have to do at 6 p.m. on a Tuesday night.

Inb4 a collection of dipshitz say they had to study.

Put the game on the projector while going over problems with my Dynamics class. Good enough for you?

1. Tennessee and Auburn were SEC Co-Champions last season and participated in the NCAAs. Enthusiasm for their programs is peaking now but was crap awhile back.

2. Support/attendance for LSU MBB is increasing gradually and will explode when we win something. We've got 9K real fans now and the bandwagoners will be there by Mid-January, I predict.

3. Sat Jan 19 versus Carolina will be our first full house.

Man i forgot when they would throw the newspaper on the floor. I was a ballboy then and had to pick that shite up. Those were the days, the student section needs to be right there in those premium seats but they wont make that move until students put asses in the seats without bribes

the second the baseball team loses a game the large majority of our fanbase is there shitting on them, ready to fire Mainieri, etc etc. Our fanbase is awful, like I said.

I’m sure the excuse will be that it’s too cold, or too close to finals, or insert excuse here

Yea say that to the Kentucky-LSU ice game fans who were there when BR was shutting down. That was some of the most fun and electric I have seen the PMAC.

Really? We may be spoiled, but that's the 7th largest stadium in the world that they put more people in than 90+% of the other stadiums on Saturdays even with the empty seats, baseball has led in attendace for decades and basketball attendance can certainly improve, but it has had its highs over the years and even broke attendance records at times back in the day (though I know we are talking about now).

It did sound like a morgue on TV last night, but the crowd size looked decent for a November game. I expect attendance to pick up a lot as regular season ends for football. No one will be able to say this team's style of play is boring. Totally opposite.

The P-MAC was empty for the third game of the year in November 10 years ago, and 20 years ago, this I know from experience. So the whole "back in my day" thing is stupid, as always.

Maybe it was more full for a Tuesday night non-conference game 30 years ago, but really who cares.

The team won, the team will be good. More students will show.

If you are a student, you probably aren't reading TD, but if you are, please disregard and go to whatever sports games you want, whenever you feel like it. College is cool.

Just remember that the kind of person who gets mad at students currently attending his alma mater on a Wednesday morning for not going to a basketball game on a Tuesday night in November....is probably the same kind of person who didn't study for finals when he was at LSU, so doesn't get where you are coming from.
