If NC had the same team but played in the SEC, they wouldn't have been ranked in the top 30.
If you are big into stats, suck on the one showing the ACC didn't have ONE team in the top 25 on total offense in their whole conference and the SEC had 3 and LSU played all of them.

i have never been a Les Miles fan, but his record initially was outstanding, i have to give him that. There was always something that kept nagging at me in the early years though, just a lot of head scratching moments that kept me from getting behind him. They didnt cost us the games but i just wasnt impressed with the play on the field. I know i was not the only one who felt this way and the last 2 seasons have just confirmed those fears in our minds that Les was just a mediocre coach who was a benefactor of outstanding talent and everything going his way.

LSU plays in the SEC and NC in the ACC. If you don't understand that stats aquired playing in the best football conference in the NCAA carry more significance than those aquired while playing in the mediocre ACC, discussing stats with you would be a waste of my time.

The above is my issue with the football knowitalls who seem to populate this board. The fact that you would make the ridiculous claim that NC is a stronger program than LSU proves that you are a complete imbecile.

That is true, but the North Carolina's D is a pretty good unit. They are easily capable of harassing JJ & our 0-line. I think we should win but it wont be a cake walk

That's the point, LSU's program is much much better then NC, yet according to some, Davis is able to build a better team in 4 years at a lesser program then what Miles was able to maintain after taking over an elite program.

UAB harassed and beat us. ASU harassed and beat Michigan. ULM hasassed and beat Alabama. A 4-7 No. Carol St.harassed and beat NC last yr. It's not unheard of, but that doesn't mean anyone expecting LSU to beat a middle of the pack ACC team by 2 td's or more is a dumb arse who knows nothing about college football as was implied in this thread.
