So instead of having our NC hopes dashed at the Bama game, we traded that in for having no real chance at the NC by that time. Makes sense.

I’d rather not lose 3 sec games in a row games in November. If you really think we were national title contenders in early November that year you must have wanted miles fired immediately after Arkansas right?

Let's just say this....Miles would have struggled to get to 7-8 wins with this team this year. He wouldn't have touched 10 (which they have a chance at).

We got whipped by them that season. No need to leave anything out. What's funny about O sycophants is that you don't consider the loss this season to be the same thing.

I don't make rash judgements like that.

We were undefeated headed into Bama, bona-fide NC contenders. Everyone knew it.

Yeah what happened in the next month was not ideal, but I can't forget that he put us in the position to even have a chance in the first place. That's part of the picture.

The problem is that people (naively) thought that any idiot could have this team in the same position. Just sub in Orgeron for Miles, and let's start counting the championships.

Instead, if this year is any indication, we'll have no shot at a NC heading into Bama for the foreseeable future.

But we comin, I guess.

Miles coaching from Jan 2012 - September 2016.

If you even simplify it down to the simple score you couldn't be more wrong...I mean

34-16 vs 24-10...which one is better?????? This doesn't take into account the way the offense performed in the game which was basically better than any offense we've put on the field in Tuscaloosa since before 2011.

Point me to the losses to a Sun Belt team and historically worse loss to Miss State during this period. Thanks.

11/14/15 vs Arkansa
11/22/15 vs Ole Miss
9/20/14 vs Miss State
11/15/14 vs Arkansas
10/19/13 vs Ole Miss

You want more???

The bottom line is that Miles was washed up at LSU after the 2015 season and was a man that wasn't willing or able to change his offense to compete in the SEC. If it weren't for some decent defenses that Chavis was able to put on the field (truly un-fricking-believable based on what has happened since) then I'm sure Miles would be more ostracized and less martyred on this board.

Are you illiterate? Go back and read my question, slowly?

Also, as often happens with O sycophants, you're starting to argue a point that I'm not asserting. If you want me to stipulate (yet again) that Miles should have been fired, I will do so (yet again).

I listed 5 losses that were historically worse than the lose to Mississippi St which is exactly what you asked.

ETA I still think you are a Miles shill (if you're not you missed a damn good chance)....I hated the O hire and I still do but if you compare Miles worst lose to Alabama versus O's worst loss to Alabama it's not even close which one is better. The best loss is more debatable...a 10 point loss in regular time that was secured in the 4th qtr vs a 7 point loss in OT...could argue either way. Although the tie breaker to me is offensive performance....I think it was better in both of O's games versus Bama.

That wasn't the question. Despite the typo (use context clues), it was "loss to" Miss State.

Damn son get back at me when you can actually form a coherent thought and convey it through your keyboard, over the internet, and onto this message board.

I don't have the time or patience to translate the drivel of an insane person.

Fine, so stop ignoring the other subject of my question. When was Mile's last loss to a Sun Belt team?

Whatever. Let's compare Miles's victories over Bama vs. O's victories over Bama. You go first.

So we are propping up the man's career based on the fact that he never lost to a Sunbelt team

I sure hope we don't have to prop any other coach up again on not losing to any teams from a group of 5 conference.

Any victory any coach had over Alabama at LSU is ancient history at this point and not really relevant to anything current....loses are relevant because that's all we have in the last 4-5 years.

Sad, isn't it? And you're a sycophant for the guy that replaced him. Pathetic.

You were doing such a good job obfuscating. I was having fun playing around with it, but you lost it here.

LINK?

I'd have been OK with you replacing Miles.....Miles needed to go period.

Like I said earlier the O hire was incredibly stupid and still is....but what the hell else can we do.
