Who are you trying to convince it was a bad hire?

What facts? Saban lost to sunbelt team is Miles better? Saban lost to A&M and Miles didn’t’t...does that make Miles better than Saban?

At one point Miles and Saban were closer in ability than people would care to admit. You don't need to be as good of a coach as Saban to beat Saban, obviously or he'd never lose. But you need to have some sort of edge.

Saban kept growing, adapting and Miles lost the edge, the willingness to take chances that he needed to compete with him.

Hmmm, so you think LSU has been riding Saban's wave for 12 years now?

2011? That was because of Saban?

If you think that this program's been on autopilot because of what Saban set in motion, then we deserve what we have in Orgeron. People like you are precisely the reason why Orgeron got hired.

Talk about a Miles shill.

I'd love to know when you think Miles was close to Saban. Mile beat Saban in 2007 when Saban was playing strictly with crappy players left by Mike Shula. Then it took LSU's best team ever 2011 (who Miles couldn't win a title with) and a horrible game from Greg McElroy in 2010 for Miles to win those.

Other than that Saban basically bitch slapped Miles with the penultimate slapping coming in the 2012 BCS National Championship game.

So yea at no point were Mile and Saban close....this is laughable.

Not exactly....but the real fact is Miles left LSU's football program worse off than when he got here in 2005.

I believe had miles followed DiNardo we wouldn’t have 2 national titles...are you saying you believe we would have 2 in that scenario?

You’re really really dumb! Recruiting is better and will get better

Exactly how?
No he had to replace players he screwed up and let them leave. Olinemen to be specific.

There's no way to know that. All we know is what happened.

And somehow, people like you think Orgeron's going to beat Saban. Orgeron couldn't even beat Miles.

We comin though.

I roll my eyes because I pray that no one can be this stupid. Unfortunately, I feel as if you just may be.

He's got a NC and played in another. That's not too shabby.

BTW, what would Orgeron's signature win be? Who has he beaten as a coach? I'll even include the interim wins. David Shaw maybe?

He still has never built a program to that level and O has a better win percentage than Miles at LSU...that’s the funniest stat to me for all the miles defenders

Another fact...the coach y’all put on a pedestal vs the one who was a disaster at ole miss...

Miles 15-11 vs sec last 3+ years
O 10-4 vs sec in less than 2 years

Why's that such a funny stat to you? What has it gotten LSU?

Are you saying somehow he didn't build the 2011 team? How did Saban build that?

Miles 15-11 vs sec last 3+ years

This is a meaningless statistic.

If you take Miles early success away from him, gotta do the same to Orgeron. Those Orgeron wins accrue to Miles.

Quit acting like Miles didn’t squander and waste talent. Most players in the nfl and what does he have to show for it? A sec title ever 4 years...and since 2011 that ratio has been going down...better yet 2 sec titles in 3 years with Saban players and 1 in 8+ years with his own players

Again, why do you O sycophants resort to arguing points that no one is asserting? No one is disputing that Miles needed to be fired, so feel free to argue until your heart's content, but you're preaching to the choir. The problem, at the end of the day, is that you present a lesser replacement for him in O. That's an O problem, not a Miles problem.
