This issue with the lack of depth on the line is largely attributable to recruiting under Les. Recruit big uglies and this will get right.

Sorry. This pro-O narrative has been squashed for awhile. The linemen purge occurred under O, not Miles. This debacle belongs to O.

I hate to tell you this, but we're going to "retain Orgeron" regardless of his record. Maybe if he kills or rapes someone, we might let him go. But you can't fire a coach after a year. Most people nationally already think LSU is run by idiots for excruciatingly dragging Miles along like we did. Firing a coach after a year in and paying TWO buyouts isn't going to happen.

Now firing Alleva is a different story...

My family has had season tickets since the 70s.

So you know what Tiger stadium used to be like. We have had ours since my grandfather's days at LSU. Tiger Stadium may be bigger, but it is currently a pale shadow of what it used to be. There are many factors, cost, TV and traffic being the biggest, but there are a lot of "social" fans who came in after Saban righted the ship who only care about LSU football when the Tigers are winning, and many of them are the ones who only go to the big games and leave at halftime unless the game is really close.

If my prediction of 70% full stadiums all year is correct, how can they afford not to?

After 48 years as a season ticket holder, I intend to not renew my tickets. But... it has nothing to do with a losing season, poor coaching, poor play, Coach O, etc. I have sat through losing seasons, winning seasons, pouring rain, etc.
I do not care for the atmosphere that is on the campus, the corporate takeover of Tiger Stadium, the money making TAF, the exorbitant parking fees in pay lots that were once free, the horrendous traffic problems, etc. I live 75 miles away. Being retired and on a fixed income doesn't allow me to keep up with the price increases for everything, including concessions!
Sorry to say, Mr. Alleva and his crew have pretty much priced me out. It's easier to sit at home and be comfortable watching the Tigers and save money!
As an LSU graduate and long time fan, I will always pull for the Tigers and support them in all sports! Love my Tigers, win or lose! Geaux Tigers!

We def will not give up our season tickets, but we will sell them as a season package to someone. We have done it before when we were just too busy to go to all the games(kids in school playing sports etc etc)

I have been going to games since 96. Not sure how that is bandwagon. I'm not going through the 98 and 99 season again while having the current shite tailgating environment and high fees and parking costs that was nonexistent in 1999.

i have been going regularly since 1992 under hallman. first game was 1978. had season tix since 1998.

i get that. but there was NO market this year for selling season tix. with the shite home games. tickets were priced way under face on secondary markets and people still would not buy. It was that bad. you are eating a ton of money. I may split mine with a pal like i have done before. depends what happens with alleva and O.

SO your saying buy them now, and sell them high when the program becomes a winning program again in 4 years.???

Is there a high price in 2021 for 2017 tickets??

You and I are seeing and saying pretty much the same thing, man. I believe that it can evolve into something great again, but it is going to take time and an AD with vision. Winning certainly fixes a lot, but all programs have down periods. The Tiger Stadium experience needs to be consistent and entertaining.

I had assumed that this was a national thing that happened at most stadiums now that you can watch all of the games on TV, but I have a buddy who does college games around the country and he said that it happens a little with fans leaving early, but not to the degree that it does here.

I'm going to go secondary market when I want to watch a game. If the product starts looking productive I will jump back into paying for season tickets.

Simple as that. Having the exact same seats year after year isn't something I need I move seats to try to improve them almost every year anyways.

I wasn't being literal, I was making a point.

If people start dropping their season tickets now, it's the perfect time to buy them.
