If Vandy is still ranked when we play then next month should we storm the field if we beat them?

Do we rush the field if we beat Vandy? Of course not. I'll treat Deboers Alabama the same way. Unimpressive and unimportant. Yawn. On to Florida.

So, yeah, it is enough reason.
Plus, I agree with another poster about the quality of the competition matters.
The only reason you are taking this stance is because you disagree
Terrible word vomit on your part.

None of it was appropriate. It was really stupid to be honest.
But you had fun at a football game. Isn't that the point of the whole thing? entertainment?

It all depends on how the game plays out. If it's an emotional hard fought game that the crowd is in from start to finish rushing the field is fine especially against a rival team like Bama. If we are ahead the entire game and pull away by a few scores then I would find it to be a little silly but still wouldn't really care if the fans still stormed it.

better question is should we get a discount on the fine because most everyone left at the half?

I must join the OP in pleading with you all to maintain some dignity and refrain from entering the field of play.
Instead, feel free to throw trash on the field.

Sure, why not?
Again, why does it matter? Who care what other fanbases say about it?

“Act like you’ve been there”
I’ve never liked this phrase when applied to a fan base. To a player or team, perhaps. Not to a fan.
Most people in a big game havent been there so I think its weird people get mad about it.
I understand risks that come with it but I think its cool seeing fans celebrating with the team on the field after a good game, even if it may not be a game others feel isnt worthy.

Doubtful. You sound like a threadbare couch kind of guy

If we beat A&M and Bama, I hope students do storm the field!

I'll be there, little buddy.

The way the rules are, only storm on away games

I agree with Brian Kelly that it presents a safety issue, so yeah. Pretty sure that is clear.

Yeah - I was stupid. I also did enough drugs and drove drunk when I was younger in the name of “fun”. Doesn’t mean it was the right thing to do or will I ever do it again.
This isn’t an “instant gratification” situation like kids need to do to have “fun” or entertained.
THE GAME WAS THE ENTERTAINMENT.
For the record I was there and watched the morons from the stands then made our way out.

Serious question, is the only downside to storming the field that opposing fanbases will mock you for doing it on TD and social media?
If so, who gives a frick?
(I ask this strictly from a fan perspective. Obviously from an institution standpoint, they'd rather not pay the fine.)

For some strange reason he’s a little insecure about this matter and doesn’t like rival message boards to post mean stuff about us.

So we're equating storming the field to doing drugs... got it.
