If O wants to get the recruits we need he's gotta prove he can be a solid HC. We may not be championship material but he needs to win some games and get to a bowl and win. He can build on that and win some recruiting battles. Recruits need to see Lsu as somewhere that isn't a dumpster fire

Also, I don't think Auburn is nearly as good as they are being made out to be. They're beating up on bad teams.
ETA: That said I still think Auburn is better than LSU. They win by 14 or so on Saturday. I just want to continue to see LSU play with some heart. That could get them to 8 wins and should earn Orgeron a bit of respect from me and the rest of the bashers.

If O runs the table sans Bama, I'm willing to give him another year to right the ship. He runs the table beating Bama and wins the SEC championship this year then all is forgiven and I would even consider the hire a good one.
