Fat Scott was brought on and it was sold as he is a money man. So if you are saying we actually don’t have enough money then Scott failed at his job.
I think we all know he botched the nil stuff to shite

All of this hate and ‘fire the AD’ bullshite that’s being directed towards Woodward is pathetic and juvenile considering the status of our football and baseball teams
Yall really want to blow this up over basketball??? Yikes
Be careful what you ask for

I'm not denying any of that. Again, I'm not defending the job that Woodward or McMahon have done, I'm stating the reality of the situation that we are currently in.

That’s not the point
My point was that he’s found great success in 2/3 major sports and yall want him fired over it. It’s fricking absurd and doesn’t make any sense

Football is mediocre?? On a national level? I guess we have different opinions on mediocre. There are probably 110 football programs that would love to switch places and status with LSU. You’re letting your dislike of Kelly cloud your overall judgment IMO

Fat Scott’s Pat Forde and Dick Vital influenced move to axe Wade and usher in CMM with that ludicrous, gold-plated contract hurled the men’s basketball program into a tailspin probably for 6-8 years from WW's firing. He rolled out a contract for CMM like he was some legendary titan of the hardwood, a whale among minnows, when really, it was a mid-major that got lucky with Ja Morant. And spare me the tired BS about ‘saving the football program’—what, so they could limp their way to the Texas Bowl and call it saving the football program?

It wasn't. I think it's pretty obvious that the decision to keep McMahon is strictly a financial decision.
I think it's pretty obvious that's the narrative he wanted out there - and IMHO he orchestrated the strategy to do just that.

The guy is a loony tune. 99.9% of his posts are screaming and cursing at other people for no reason and every prediction, opinion post he makes is completely wrong. He’s a woody wojak, a mindless bot brain whose only purpose is to attack non prescribed opinions.

Fatward doesnt have the IQ or gumption to handle an elite coach like CWW
On one side Woody had Dick Vital, Pat Forde, Dale Brown and Collis Temple. On the other side he had Will Wade. The legacy side has little or no influence on the future of men's basketball. On the other side Woody had a lot of leverage over Wade, a lot. But Wade had a lot going for him. He had several players coming back and he had a top 10 class with 2 five stars and a high 4 star coming in. The future on the court looked really bright.
Woody could have easily negotiated WW's contract down and placed performance stipulations on his contract and performance goals. It would have been so good and healthy for the basketball program. We would probably be competing in the NCAA tournament this season and talking about a new men's basketball arena. There would be much excitement around the basketball program right now.
But Woody chose to go with the Dick Vital, Pat Forde, Dale Brown and Collis Temple side.

quote:except this isn’t at all what happened…. Scott took over in 2019 and kept Wade for 3 years until the NOA was noticed and the allegations, with proof (of both of the cheating and the lying to the school/AD) were available. Woodward couldn’t give less of a frick what Forde/Wolken/Vital had to say.

You’re uneducated on the subject, and that’s okay to admit.

Woody could have done that, and probably should have. But once he found out Wade lied to him about it, he really didn't have much of a choice.
