You’re right he’s done an incredible job.

You must not read the Rant very often.

It's jam packed full of "Dumb as Louisiana Swamp Muck" clabberheads that live a lifelong existence of mediocrity acceptance. (That includes LSU Athletics)

Reed are SEC shooters

He’s made a total of 19 threes

Reed shot 39.4% from 3 last year, and had shot 2 out of 4 this year, but he does his damage inside the 2 point line, where he shot over 50% last year, and was shooting over 60% this year. He is a reliable shooter, and had developed his defense and rebounding. He and Ward had proven they could shoot against SEC competition.

If Reed, V Miller AND Ward play we beat the socks off Bama.

The team as it's currently made up is a jigsaw puzzle, with a couple of pieces gone.

Ward stepped away for mental health reasons.

Correct if we go 6-23 from 3 instead of 3-23 we might win. Or if we don't give them 8 free points on the same under the goal inbound action 4 times we might win.

Hey, they played a whole half without their best player and beat us by 7 in the second half.

We did some things better this game that we have struggled with all year and credit to the team for that. I think the best we can hope for is that continues, and we keep doing thing better and better each game, but if you shoot like that from 3 gonna be tough to beat any SEC team much less Bama.

I know that is the story we were given and I know lot's of folks struggle with mental health issues so I certainly do not want to diminish any such struggle Ward may be having and my prayers are with him.

But he was not going to play as much this year as he did last year by most reports coming out and also having watched some pre-season intrasquad scrimmages.

I agree, they look much better, though without our Captain & post threat we really have our work cut out for us.

Reed is a decent, sometimes very good player, but not consistent.

Ward was streaky last season and was non existent in some of the games.

V Miller is/was not ready to play in the SEC obviously.

Chest could have given us some minutes last season. He should have played.

Williams is a head scratcher. He showed some promise last season and now sits at the end of the bench on a bad team.

In summation, we need a new coach and new facilities.

You ignorant fk

Name another college that has won more national championships in the big three (football, basketball, baseball) over the last 30 years. There may be some, but there won't be many....and that's not even including the LSU girls who have won a NC recently, and many final 4s in the early 2000s.....and women's gym NC, and a softball team that has went to multiply college world series.

Posters like you are either trolling are literally you are retarded. We may not be where we want to every year in all sports, but we have been spoiled with championships. We aren't special. All these other schools are out spending and competing too, with less success......so you can gfy.

I believe they win 3 more games with Reed. Coaching had nothing to do with the loss last night and 13% from three had everything to do with it and the coach ain’t shooting. They were even on just about every stat except FT attempts where AL got a little home cooking.

This is correct. But, you have overly emotional posters on here that are not capable of having real conversations. I've even read some of the bigger idiots blaming shooting % on the coach.

I think Reed is a good player and was a big loss. The fact that your best shooter has quit the team every year under MM is pretty crazy. Nobody talks about it.

Ok this year was Ward quit, who are the two that quit the previous year? You referring to Cook? Who are you referring to from year one?
