We are fine just like we are. We do not need to erect statues of championship coaches, this act puts the coach in a higher regard than the program. No coach or player should ever be above the program. ( same feelings for Shaq statue)

We do not need to claim a title whenever a BS poll says we are champs. AP and Coaches post 1950 is what 95% of all division 1 programs claim when rewarded ( any thing before 1950 is had so many regional polls it was chaos)

Finally men waving pom poms is just silly. ( would use another term but that would be insensitive)

We'd claim 8 National Championships.

I don't care if they put up a statue of Saban. As long as he isn't in some stupid pose like they have at Alabama.

I'd honestly like to know who approved doing a statue of him mid-clap. It makes the statue look hilariously bad. I'm not just saying that as an LSU fan. I'd be pissed if I were Bama and paid for that thing.

Why the confusion? We've had 3 different coaches win one.

Sure we would but it wouldn't look like a cartoon character like the one at Alabama.

The question is, How many NC would we have won if ole Nick would've stayed in Tigerland?

Dunno. Other than 2003, he lost at least 3 games every year he was here, including 5 losses in 2002. Although he won a NC and 2 SEC titles, and had feared defenses, at LSU Saban was not thought of as the mythical "best coach ever" like he is now by some. He may not have had the tremendous success he's had at Bama had he stayed at LSU.

Statues, no.

I prefer bronze plaque that we currently have with the players and coaches names on them. Undertated, yet give credit to everyone who made it happen.

Besides, if we put up statues, people would complain about the loss of tailgating space.
