I'd take him tomorrow, if we could get him.

I'd probably rather Jimbo than Chip Kelly. I dunno. Either would be a dream.

Hell yes! I would even change my user to GetmorewithJimbo!

BTW, I was thinking of this today before I even read this post. I hate when rantards get on here and want the coach fired and don't have a plan or a realistic plan.

I know people who know Jimbo and they say he was willing to come back to LSU but that was before his NC at FSU and new contract... They said he really liked it here outside of just the LSU stuff.

Well FSU has him locked up until 2018 so that's ALOT of money we will have to pay

if miles leaves and frank goes to ole miss and orgeron goes to aTm then we will lose the state for recruiting.

My goodness, do you live your life thinking of the worst possible scenario's possible? Frank has already turned down an OC offer from Ole Miss. Plus, good luck getting kids from inner-city N.O. to a campus that still has a kkk presence. Also, the reason Oregeron wasn't here sooner was because of Chief. Apparently, Chavis didn't want Orgeron at all.

How many of you saying, "yes" were screaming to get him out when he was here?
His last few years, the majority of fans on this board couldn't wait for him to pack his bags.
He should have been hired in '05.
Jimbo was a terrific qb coach and oc. His play calling was always well balanced. Wasn't flashy but got the job done.

I would want nothing more than for Miles to go out in a respectful way that he deserves the man has done so much for LSU. It's going to be a sad day when he retires, but getting someone like Jimbo would ease the bourbon binge drinking

i don't think frank would stay here w/o miles if he is not the oc because it would show him that lsu has no plan to make him oc and he has no trust in anyone other than miles. i think a lot of people would come calling for frank and he would do significant damage at another sec west school. he didn't leave for ole miss earlier because lsu ponied up more money and he is CLOSE to miles.

Found this in an article

quote:

Of course, the most important figure in any coaching contract is the buyout. And there is a significant one here. Fisher would owe a cool $5 million should he leave before Dec. 31, 2016, a more manageable $3 million if he left between Jan. 1, 2017 and Dec. 31, 2018, and a minuscule $1 million thereafter.
