Hating the guy is fine, perfering Lee is fine, but to paraphrase an former US Senator, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but not their own facts. Outside of the 2 Bama games and the the first half of the UGA game, the offense was at worst the same if not better after JJ came back. As bad as JJ was on 1/9, we do not win the 11/5 game with out him. Personally, I'd rather the way things worked out, tough lose in the BCS CG, but we won the SEC over finishing 2nd in the SEC W and playing Michigan in the Sugar Bowl.

I thought going into the season that Bama would win it all and we would probably drop 2, hoping we could go 12-1 and finish in the top 5. I can't deny that it has taken me a while to get over the BCS CG. A disappointing recruiting class didn't help. But seeing that we could have a really good class for 2013 and another monster, 2009, 2011 type class in 14 has helped me put things back in perspective. We are one of the elite programs in CFB and won't be going away any time soon.

While that shuttle pass to the bama defender will forever be burned into my psyche, I didn't think we'd even get a whiff of a chance at being in that game last year nor did I ever dream we'd have the kind of season we had considering how horribly tough that schedule was so to me 2011 is lagniappe.
This is the year I was waiting for.

Exactly. I was upset Jan. 10th. On Jan. 11 , I was back thinking that overall the season was blast. I wish we wouldve shown up better on Jan.9 ,but we didn't. Also, my own sports accomplishments are enough that I don't let a game played by young men, a decade younger than me, to define me. I still proudly wear my LSU shirt in the midst of all the Bama people I know , because whether some posters wanna admit it or not, we have a top 5 coach and LSU is one of the elite football programs with back to back bednarik and Thorpe award winners. Unheard of.

i forgive Les for the title game debacle ....at least we lost to another SEC team ,a hated one but none the less we lost to a team that was more likely to beat us especially after we went to their house and beat them previously and both teams were evenly matched ,actually mirrors of each other but bammer had an edge at qb where it was needed , but losing to USC in a championship game would probably be the ultimate let down......especially if we were the better team

Jan 9th was humiliating. What happens when 13-1 teams play with even more passion and anger? I personally hope it was enough hate fodder to keep our team pissed off for the next couple seasons.
