No flame, but you are way off with this mentality. He's had a whole offseason and a whole regular season to "get it fixed", yet somehow you think he'll miraculously fix it in 3 weeks? el-o-el

Plus, it's not so much his schemes that aren't working, but our guys not stepping up; particularly at LB

All you people that say losing won't be a big deal make me want to throw the f-up. You have got to be kidding. That will be how many bowl losses in consecutive years? Not to mention 2 losses to unranked teams by the God you call Les Miles. Maybe another crappy off season and finishing 3rd in the west again next year, will that make you wake the f-up about this coach? But hey what do you care, 3 or 4 losses a year is better than the 90's right?

Not sure why, but I'm going to address this.

Take a 20 year snap shot. We'll start in 2000 and go to 2020. Other than Alabama, what program in the country would you prefer to be than LSU? Don't tell me about missed opportunities, or specific complaints about LSU. No program is without their fair share of missteps. Give me a program that will have had a better 20 year run and why they are better.

From 2000 to today (13 seasons), LSU has won 2 national championships, played for a third, won 4 SEC titles, played for a 5th, had a Heisman finalist, put a metric shite ton of players into the NFL, has played in 13 straight bowl games, won at a rate never dreamed of in our program's history, has not had a losing season and have not won less than 8 games the entire run.

In a few days, we will witness the beginning of what may well be the greatest recruiting class in the history of our program all declare on national TV which will mean more winning, more success, more of everything many of us have come to enjoy over the past 13 years.

And in spite of that, you're angry. To be honest, my only problems with our program are fans who, for some unknown reason, are either unwilling or unable to accept the fact that we're as good as we've ever been and the future is even brighter than today. That's not spin...it's a fricking fact. It's a damn shame that Alabama's recent and unprecedented successes at the hands of our former coach has warped the sense of some of our fans...but other than that program, there is not one in the nation that has had more or can expect more success on the horizon than our own. Sorry you're unable to enjoy it.

Happy New Years...try and be less of a dick in 2014.

It solidifies my view of it being disorganized at times causing loses of 1-2 games a year that should never have happened. And i see the sunshine pumpers are already in force trying to deflect what this would mean....According to a pumper no loss is a big deal...If that's the case, then why should they play the games is they don't mean a damn thing. The NCAA should just give all of the teams participation ribbons so there's no loser to get their feelings hurt. Losing to a lesser team is embarrassing.

It's always been my opinion that only one bowl game matters . All the rest are exhibitions for people who can't let the season end. I would think LSU 's Pro-Bowl approach will continue much to the dismay of the said few who give a frick.

Honestly...I feel like I have a damn brain tumor when reading some of the comments about LSU's program on this board. I'm tired of watching people toss out complaints...so let's take a different route.

If LSU is so bad, which programs would have been better over the past 13 years and who looks to be better the next 7?

Oklahoma?
USC?
Notre Dame?
Florida?
Florida State?
Michigan?
Ohio State?
Auburn?
Georgia?
Oregon?
Miami?
Texas?
Wisconsin?
Stanford?

Seriously...other than Alabama, which program has been better?

What does this have to do with how next season plays out? We had a shitty off season then went undefeated. The bar fight, krags getting Parkinson's, the multiple weed suspensions, les miles sister died in a car crash. Went 13-0 and won the sec.

Given the level of success LSU has had over the past 13 years, this may very well be the most idiotic term in use on this or any board on the internet. Why would anyone even feel the need to pump sunshine into a program that is solidly still enjoying it's golden era?

This term speaks far more about the inability of some to grasp just how great we have it. It's deflection at it's finest.

Speaking positively about something positive is not sunshine pumping.

If Jennings plays great or terrible, it will have a huge impact on our preseason ranking next year. This is what to watch for.

I love the games, love the Tigers but the worrying about next seasons rankings and the effect it has on recruiting is stupid. It's obvious the recent LSU teams don't get all excited about the bowls so why should I .....

frick a 20 year fricking snapshot.
Really?
You people that justify losses and bonehead decisions by looking at the past and comparing it to everybody else that isn't in first place are the worst.
No LSU fan is unhappy or unproud of LSU s past accomplishments, however that has total of zero to do with today.
Was it Vince Lombardi that said second place is the first loser?
You and your pals that approve of what you posted are exactly that,,, first fricking losers.
Furthermore saying nobody else has beaten Alabama makes you look even more like a crybaby.
You remind me of ole miss fans.

So, it sounds like because Les wins 9-10 games a year, when he loses, he can go to the 50 yard line and take a dump on national TV and send the kids to the showers. But since he's doing great, no football fan is allowed to dissect his method. Only opposing coaches can do that. As a fan, its wrong to want your team to beat other unranked teams. If Les could correct his brain farts, he'd be on the same level as the other school in the division. He's that close....

TAMPA, Fla. — LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva said Monday he has not received any contact from officials at Texas asking for permission to speak to coach Les Miles about their vacant head coaching position, and that he expects Miles to be with the Tigers for the foreseeable future.

“He has five years left on his contract, and I expect him to be our coach for a long time to come,” said Alleva, here with the LSU traveling party as the Tigers prepare to take on Iowa in Wednesday’s Outback Bowl, scheduled to kick at noon on ESPN.

This just in: CLM is going to be the coach of LSU for the foreseeable future so this is all moot point. As I said before if the season ticket sales ever dwindle to unacceptable level then they will have a serious discussion, otherwise he is here to stay! We reallists all know the pros and cons of CLM program: the record is outstanding along with generally good team character while his game day coaching sometimes is questioned and a inexplicable L every season but ask Lil Nickie about that now, otherwise there is nothing more to do but support in full this Tiger program and bring on the Iowans and then LF to begin the year right!
Happy New Year and !
