I think we all need to remember that losses are never O’s fault, so no matter what our record is O will be undefeated.

If we lose games, it will most likely be due to the offense once again being hot garbage. If so, what's O gonna do? Throw his hand-picked "we had our guy all along" OC under the bus? That's not gonna placate the masses who will be calling for a change. It's truly the O show now. He's got his guys in place. He can't point the blame anywhere but at himself now.

Since when did we start playing 13 regular season games?

Since when did we start judging based only on the regular season? Was 2011 our greatest season ever? I mean we don’t consider the bowl?

7-5 gets him fired.

It depends on the bowl. Why are you knuckleheads acting like there is no bowl? Does the loss to Notre Dame not affect your thoughts on last year?

I think 8-5 retains him, 7-6 will see him fired.

1. Coach O is NOT going to be terminated this year. It simply is not going to happen even if we go 7-5. The admin at LSU is not gonna pay that buyout until it goes down some more (post 2019 season).

2. Now, Aleva might get canned next year if we go 7-5 or even 8-4. And a new AD might hold O's feet to the fire after the 2019 season.

They can lose a lot more than that and still be back.

Me too. I think if we go 7-5 Alleva goes, O gets one more year and they let the new AD pick his guy.

7-5 and this recruiting class will fall completely apart. If this recruiting class falls apart, we are Tennessee for the next 10 years at the very least.

What a dumb arse question! So LSU has no other options than a bottom tier DL coach? Lol

Umm, how do you think we ended up with "a bottom tier Dl coach" then?

We aren’t paying for Ed’s buyout. If all he did was lose to those 3, he would actually not get any crap besides from people that post on TD. Depending on how bad the losses are, he may actually get two thumbs up if he continues to recruit as well as he is recruiting.

We weren’t willing to spend money 7 plus million to get a new coach in 2016 so we settled on Ed. It’s probably not a bad strategy because you are wasting your money if you pay now. We aren’t beating Bama. There is no use handing someone money that he doesn’t deserve and getting the same result.

We are keeping Ed for 4 years no matter what he does on the field. When Saban retires, If we don’t like the work Ed has done, then we can get in the market and spend a bunch of money on a coach(or hire Arranda) .

Since a bowl game with a 9-3 record became a given.

Coach could go 13-0 and win the NC and the Nega O's will still be enraged

100% False Narrative. It does no good to spout this.
