If LSU gets penalties of any kind

Let me start by saying I thing this all amounts to nothing, however hypothetically if LSU were to receive some sort of suspension of CLK or probation...what are the chances that LSU appeals and has some BR judge issue another TRO regarding this? Does i ever end? I hope its's all over with in the next 36 hours and we can get back to kicking arse!

You hold the SEC near and dear to your heart. Don’t. They are a bunch of **** carpet baggers and LSU doesn’t need them. LSU should go independent and negotiate our own TV deals and make the CFP every year like Notre dame.

Not at all, I despise the SEC aside from LSU, particularly they way LSU has historically been treated. I just see something special in this year and want it to get down to simply inside the lines on Saturday...that said, I LOVE the CLK character and tactis!

Unless there is an agreed upon settlement, 100% LSU appeals.

This is the entire point of the federal suit. If the SEC wins that, the state court BS won't matter as they will have their enforcement authority recognized by a superior court.

I still don’t understand having to suspend Kiffin. He followed the rules so he should not be under any further threat of suspension.

LSU should start shopping for another conference. Probably should even if we don't get any sanctions.

The state of Louisiana can appeal that claiming the SEC made the move to avoid complying with a judgment against the league. Louisiana would win.
And the judge can still hold them in contempt.

No other conference annual payout will match the SEC, perhaps Big 10, but when they brought on the PAC 10 schools the got half shares of conference payouts for a period of time

LSU did nothing wrong, according to LA Court.
The court also protected LSU from any penalties.

The SEC is run by yankees and slick talking carpetbaggers.
Sankey is from New York. He is NOT one of us and he doesn't talk like us.

Big Ten actually had a higher payout for TV revenue than the SEC. Have to remember they added schools to grab bigger markets. Adding Los Angeles and the entire West Coast with Washington and Oregon. Los Angeles market alone is very valuable especially for advertising.

Why did they not file this suit after Ole Miss ran to an Oxford judge to over rule the SEC's rule on Trinidad Chambliss' eligibility?

Two things can be true. I have always hated the Greg Skanky and SEC officials but have always liked being a member of the SEC. Cannot say I feel that way anymore. Not that anyone cares about what I think but literally everyone in Louisiana has lost all respect for the other institutions and SEC so not sure how this relationship can be fixed.

The bigger question is what happens to the SEC Rant if LSU goes independent.
