If LF7 wins the Heisman next year, is the Heisman legitimate again...

Did Derrick Henry's win destroy the Heisman credibility. Will it take a LF7 win to restore the Heisman to the most coveted trophy in sports or is the Heisman ruined forever?

If Anthony Jennings wins it next year I'll consider Heisman order restored

Going to be a tough competitive field next year with Cook, LF and McCaffrey

Really?

Henry winning the Heisman destroyed it's credibility?

I'd go back about 25 years or more. Start with Andre Ware.

Stahp.

If LF7 wants the Heisman, he has to earn it. Just like Henry did.

Clearly was awarded for popularity most of the recent years. A lot of biased media pushed up on Henry. It definitely was not presented to the best player this year.

How did Henry winning destroy the award???? And if fournette wins it next year , how will that make a difference in the fact that the award is still a joke. Oh that's right.... He goes to lsu. Gotcha.

Henry earned it. He did things that hasn't been done since Bo and Herschel. A bunch of pussies in here

I guess as long as an LSU player wins it, it's a great award. If anyone else wins it, it's a stupid award.

I don't know what it's more annoying. This bitch fest or the hoping for Saban to retire so LSU can beat Bama. Some of our fans are so pathetic.

LF7 did not deserve to sniff New York this year. When he played the best, he could not get 2 yards per carry. When Henry played the best, he ran wild.

Take off your purple and gold blinders.

No question.
Henry is not the best player at his position. Hell he may not be in the top 4. How can he credibly be considered the best player in the country?

Answer: He can't!

They all say you can't win the hieisman in sept and oct but you can lose it.

Henry won it and LF lost it all in month of November

3rd best running back in the conference

Fournette/chubb > Henry

Henry wasn't being talked about while these two were doing their thing.
Chubb gets hurt, Teams figure out the toss dive. Henry gets multiple 40+ carry games, has shite ypc, has 13 games to fournettes 11 and chubbs 6.

Literally this is all it was.
13 games > 11 games > 6 games
Alabama > LSU > UGA

LF7 is a better RB than Henry. But Henry put up big numbers in the big games, and his team is in the final 4.

There really was no good option this year, with Chubb out, LF7/LSU under-performing down the stretch, Boykin getting hurt, Mich St QB getting hurt. McCaffrey didnt get enough publicity until the very end.

Honestly with all the other injuries, it was set up perfectly for LF7 to win if LSU hadnt collapsed late in the season. They had no other choice than to give it to Henry.

It lost credibility the year Jason white beat Larry Fitzgerald. Larry caught every damn ball over double or triple coverage.

I'm still upset about that to this day.
