All he needed to do was get a new offensive coach in there and leave them the frick alone. That's it. That's all Les Miles needed to ascend to greater heights. He refused to do so, and now he's trading LSU for fricking Kansas.
It is all most of us wanted and prayed for. Why he became so resistant, I will never know, unless he really was broken by 1/9/12 to the point where he could not handle the big games?
Wish it were not so.

who's going to be his recruiting coordinator, Nick Saban?

I'd have to call in sick to watch the melt all day.

Can You Say Cam Cameron.
That guy who was fired mid-season that we then hired? How'd that team do when they fired him?
The Cam hire was a bad one

If Briles goes to KU with Les I doubt Alleva will last 6 months.
Posted on 11/13/18 at 3:11 pm to Riolobo
They would still run the shitty offense Miles has come to adore and never fid a top defense to cover up his misguided beliefs, but hell it would be great to get rid of the debt he collects every month.

What does Alleva do with all that buyout money he's saving?

I don’t understand the hatred so many of you have for Miles.

I like Les Miles. That doesn't mean I didn't watch him coach for years, or that I forgot his tendencies.

I joke about Les' quirky ways, but I genuinely like the guy and he has always been loyal to LSU. I hope he gets the job and does well.
But, please leave Briles where he is. It at least gives me hope.

I think Miles is a great guy. I wish him success at Kansas.

extend O and Slinger

That would be considered kidnapping

quote:Quick fact. Miles has 4 of those shitty offenses that have scored more TDs per season (Rush and Pass) than any other at LSU.
They would still run the shitty offense Miles has come to adore

Briles wouldn't go anywhere where he'd be handcuffed and forced to run into a stacked box because his head coach was ruined twice..... 2008 and 2011.

If Miles goes to Kansas, hires Briles, and completely opens up the offense, I will shite a fricking brick.
So, yes.
So, yes.
