Yep, pretty awful time management by Saban.

BUT, if you say nick did a milesism, then nick is off the hook and it's all les' fault.

look people still making excuses for Saban. Even he blatantly fricks up

The point is that all of you Saban apologists ALWAYS argue that he's basically impeccable. Never makes a mistake. This thread was started just to point out the fact that Saban is human, unlike some of you treat him.

I've never considered Saban a great game coach. He's a great recruiter.

Miss isn't much of a game coach either although he will make halftime adjustments from time to time.

Regarding spike - to be honest, alot of that stuff is coached and the qbs know to do it. Miles messed up yes - but something tells me most qbs would have simply executed. and he was likely coached to do so. I realize this is an unknown - I am just one of the few who sees it that way. Plus its bang bang.

Yes, but don't forget that the spike was set up by terrible clock management on the last possession. Also, a second play should have been called before the Randle catch.

Then Richt pulls the bonehead clock move at end of game.

Both looked like idiots.

You mean put his team in position to win its third BCS title in four years?

Yeah, I don't think Le$ is ever going to do that.

Next thread!

That game should have been called "The clock management fiasco". Richt should have spiked the ball after the first down with 15 seconds to go and taken 3 shots st the end zone.

Nick realized his mistake, Les would have been clueless.
