If JD leaves we’re signing DJ U!!!

Check the receipts I am a huge Jayden fan. I think he comes back and ends up as a 1st round pick next year.
He will put on at least another 10lbs.
He will have a better relationship with our returning wrs.
Our Oline will provide better protection.
It pains me that we overlook how he started the Georgia game. Throwing strikes and making quick decisions. His ankle just didn’t hold up.
That aside if he does leave we will add a veteran qb to compete with guys who have limited game reps.
If one of Nuss or Walker beats them out then so be it but our staff is not going backwards there will always be competition.
I can see us bringing in DJ U too compete.
Some people are scared to compete. Sorry to say it but look at jack bech. Are u kidding me. The coaches send u to the sec meetings because they have that much faith in you and you tuck tail. Soft. Same for Davis Robinson. Soft.
The alignment is beautiful

Well I hope JD5 stays, he is better that DJU and with another year in this offense, with 9 starters back not counting JD5 himself, LSU's Offense is ready to roll day 1 in spring ball and develop for the FSU game in game 1 in Orlando.

I don’t agree with very much here. JD5 has a LOT to work on. If he were a better pocket passer, he would be a high NFL draft pick and there would be no discussion. The kid from Clemson isn’t as good as what we have now.

We’re not sitting pat if JD5 leaves. We’re bringing in a guy to compete. DJ U just needs coaching. He’s got a cannon and is mobile. JD5 needed coaching and look at how his game blossomed.

Second, and most importantly, a school like LSU isn't going to bring in a high profile portal QB "to compete". If you're bringing in an upperclassman portal QB it's because he's going to be your starter.

I am not ignoring that game, but him being hurt is EXACTLY the reason he threw the ball like that. He legit could not run.
If he plays in the bowl game and is close to his normal self, you will see the same type of play he has all year. Inability/unwillingness to throw deep, if he does he will underthrow it/throw late. Bad touch on flat passes and no throws over the middle.

No. DJ U is gonna go sit behind Bo Nix for a year and then lose the qb competition the following year and transfer somewhere else.

WG_Dawg: Thanks for the 100% accurate post. Some LSU fans, as the case with all SEC fanbases, are bleeping clueless. I appreciate you seeing that as you say a school like LSU is not going for a portal QB that has experience unless he is the starter.
