We all know OSU pretty much kicked the stuffing out of Clemson last year and just could not overcome the zebra's .I think an OSU /LSU game would have been a classic . OSU was better than Clemson last year and Burrow would not have been able to do to OSU 's secondary what he did to Clemson's . That being said I would have gone with a prediction of :LSU 35 OSU 31. Im no Buckeye fan but my eyes tell me those were the 2 best teams in the country .

Maybe he brought it up to talk about something different than the stupid shite everyone has repeated over and over and over again the last three days? No reason to be an arse about it.

Please. Yeah, Clemson got some calls but OSU still had every chance to put that game away and couldn’t do it. Had to settle for field goals, let T Lawrence go nuts after the first quarter, etc.

Why do 75% of people on here have to be such an arse? Prove it or stfu??? If you don’t like the topic, don’t join in. If all you’re going to say is stupid shite just to be a dick, then how about you just stfu. I don’t get it. The dude just brought up a topic. Doesn’t matter if you agree with his opinion or not. There’s just no reason to be a dick.

Pretty sure the refs didn't let Lawrence run 60 yards down the field outrunning that vaunted OSU secondary. They also had nothing to do with OSUs offense going stale after the 1st half. The bad calls didn't really change the game that much. Those types of calls happen every game and it's just chalked up to part of the game.

Or we would have destroyed OSU the same way we destroyed everyone else. It did not matter the eliteness of the secondary. Ja'Marr Chase, Terrace Marshall, Justin Jefferson, Thad Moss, CEH, and then Burrow take your pick.

Did you not see Ja'Marr Chase destroy A.J. Terrell (drafted: round 1 / pick 16) in the national championship game? Did you not watch the Florida game where we embarrassed CJ Henderson (drafted: round 1 / pick 9)? Or did you even watch the Alabama game, yes the final score was close but did you not see any of the touchdowns passes?

The two best teams in the country played in the national championship. You OSU fans are still bitching about one call, if y'all were as high and mighty as you thought you guys would have blown the doors off of Clemson and really pulled away. But instead, Clemson scored 21 unanswered points stemming from the 1st half into the 2nd half and pushed you guys onto your heels.

OSU wasnt getting "destroyed" by anyone . Check out the the NFL .Its filled with Buckeyes . Refs DEFINETLY decided that game .And TL is a great QB,but that strip and return for TD that wasnt would have put that game away . So much for instant replay . And as an impartial observer I did say i liked LSU to win by 4 . I really hope LSU ,Clemson and OSU are back in the 4 this year ,but like i said we got no QB 's to send you this yr .

Because this stupid argument is so outdated. It's asinine to think anyone would have stopped that LSU team from last season. The closet team that came was Auburn because of their stout red zone defense.

The topic has been discussed for months now, and people are tired of it because it's a triple point. A) OSU fans think they were better than Clemson which then B) The only way Clemson won was because of the refs which leads to point C) OSU fans think they would have given LSU a run for their money in the Superdome. All of which are false. I think OSU and Clemson were nearly equally matched. I think OSU was the more athletic and better-recruited team (you guys have no issues getting 5* all over the field) and Clemson was the more cerebral team and schemed better and made due of the opportunities they had. OSU had to settle for field-goals (look at the first drive of the game) you guys marched all the way down the field but didn't score a touchdown. The game just happened to come down to scheme and opportunity. It did not matter as much about athleticism and recruiting rankings. Everyone else OSU played they out strength-and-out ran.

Literally, the number of NFL prospects has nothing to do with your team last season.

LSU has sent players to the NFL in droves, it did not help us the past decade against Alabama.

LSU would have DESTROYED your secondary. We have plays in the arsenal that literally were formulated to confuse the secondary and get guys on islands. You OSU fans really think your teams are so high and mighty because of all that media hype each season. You guys are ranked every season and play no one. Michigan has not been relevant for a decade so don't hang your hat on that matchup, please. You guys played one team worth a damn and your elite secondary did not save you.

LSU would have run CEH for 200 yards and 5 TDs if the passing game would not have worked. And trust me the passing game would have worked. No one fears OSU. LSU is better, end of the discussion. It's flat out obvious at this point. No one was stopping that LSU team at all. We were literally operating like an NFL team and picking apart the tiniest of things. Okudah would have been nullified and I don't even know who your safeties are or the other cornerback (is that the dude who opted out and is trying to opt back in potentially). Hadn't even known who he was until this summer. So yeah, your secondary your linebacking core, your Chase Young (hit or miss prospect) we would have canned your entire defense and Joe Burrow would have probably had one of his best games ever getting revenge on the school that probably didn't even deserve him in the first place. Thank you for showing him the signs he needed to make the best decision of his life.

no excuses getting boat raced by Purdue .in total agreement with that . but no excuses for having cowbells rack up 44 on LSU either . Yes ,im from Ohio but admit the SEC from top to bottom is the toughest slate in the nation .The Big Ten East is no picnic .Try playing Penn State at night in a white out when its 25 degrees . Or having your crossover game at night at Wisconsin where the stadium literally shakes .Yes ,I know death valley is at night is a sight to see . been there . but Big Ten ,week in week out is 1b . And all other conferences dont come close.
