Myles will not just come in and start unless Max completely shits the bed/end thread.

Another Myles injury, another indefinite timeline.

It is not hating on Max, just want him to hit receivers on schedule.

Nope, compound fracture. Also he wasn’t skiing, that’s a rant rumor that people are claiming as fact. It was due to a fishing “accident”.

Feels like 2011. You get a QB rolling with the offense just in time for Kentucky game to switch them out.

Max needed a tossed shoe and a phenomenal kick to win that game.

Max has better mobility but a weaker arm, his throws remind me of Danny Wuerffel. Hopefully he can be a repeat that Heisman.

What was Brennan’s win loss record?

You ever seen them line up and throw as far as they can? Because I haven’t. Brennan’s arm might be stronger but nobody knows for sure

Max beat FLA and Ole Miss in his only 2 starts last year as an 18 year old true freshman. Apparently he doesn't have too much to correct

Well that's just not true, Max has a lot to work on and I'm sure he is doing it. Don't act like he's Joe Burrow already.

If max looks good.. and is running the offense well, Myles won’t come in and start

Does anyone dispute this point? The biggest thing is MB being back will allow Peetz to call more QB runs knowing he has an experienced backup.

I'm pretty sure if it's a hairline fracture, it wouldn't need surgery.

Not necessarily true at all it’s to stabilize the bone since any movement to the fracture area can slow down the healing process. They will plate and screw it and then possibly go back and remove it. But this is all contingent on the severity a lot of things factor in. Being the humerus and not the radius really sucks though

I'd much rather Max lead this team to the playoffs than for Myles to be back on the field for LSU to try righting the ship. Sad for Myles, and I hope the best for him, but it is what it is.

What if Myles transferred to Auburn, started in front of TJ Finley and Auburn beats us three years in a row with ex LSU QBs ?

I feel like Myles Brennan is done at LSU. I don’t see him ever taking another snap here outside of being a backup, and I know he wants to play ball. I wouldn’t blame him for leaving, it’s all Max Johnson show now....

Why would a hairline fracture need surgery, exactly?

The timeframe of his injury doesnt matter because he will never play another down for LSU. The only way he would play i if Max were awful or hurt. Well if either of those happen the season has already been lost so why would Brennan cost himself a year of eligibility on a lost season?

He will transfer to some place in the Big12 and hope to have a good enough season to get drafted.

For those babbling he will go to Ole Miss you may want to actually watch a Lane Kiffin offense. Brennan does not have the athleticism to work in that offense.

Not a bad theory here. If I recall correctly, OkSt was our other primary competition for his signature. That’d actually be a great place for him to land. Either way, I wish him the best. Have pulled for him since he picked us, it just never worked out for him. Will continue to pull for him no matter what.

Never been a fan of yours but literally have no idea what will happen. Nobody does at this point. He may decide to never play again or may decide to ride it out another year.

He loves LSU and Louisiana. A healthy Brennan has the QB talent and arm to play in the league. I hope he heals quickly and gets a chance to show what he can do.
